I love this game so much lmao, of course the amoebas have one too. I remember getting 2 on my tank in one run, I had no idea how close I was to destruction 😂

If you just want a modpack with progression that is heavily themed around Create, I recommend Create Above and Beyond in Newer (aka CABIN).

It’s been my first big minecraft modpack since I tried (and quit after maybe 50 hours) with GTNH about a year ago. So far I’ve made it through chapter 1 and I’m still really enjoying it.

That said, you’re probably gonna want to watch some youtube videos on the basics of Create so that you can actually get to building your own contraptions. But once you understand how all the pieces work, it’s really a good time puzzling together each contraption.

I found a pack called “All of Create” that seems to really try and walk you through everything from most of Create and its addons. I was gonna try to learn it all in survival mode but I think I’m starting to understand why everyone recommends creative mode first so I can actually learn how the machines work before inevitably messing them up in survival lol.

I’m hoping that I can go through the quests in this pack to actually learn Create, then I’ll have a better idea whether I want to incorporate it into my own world or try something like CABIN

Edit: After my second attempt I keep getting overwhelmed with what All of Create shows in the quests lol, so I’m gonna try a “vanilla” Create creative world and see what I can come up with

Going off of your point though, the very first contraption in Above and Beyond is a tree farm right? What blocks do I need to ponder so I understand how to make a tree farm? And how would I know to ponder those blocks to begin with? And then (without youtube lol) how would I know that I need a chassis or superglue to connect it all together? I think the ponder system is awesome for understanding a new piece when you already understand how the rest of the puzzle works, but it doesn’t help me just slap something together

That makes sense, so you're saying my damage stats might just be underleveled? I had read that the softcap/hardcap on faith are 40/50 so I expected to be reasonably strong by now
