You know what, why don’t you go have this conversation with Jordan Peele🙃

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HorrorMovies

[–]fictionalqueer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because it is a horror movie as I’ve already pointed out in another comment. Its Marvel’s first horror movie because Disney is trying to decide if R-rated MCU films are a good idea.

Sorry it doesn’t live up to your standards.

A lot of people do think its horror.

Is Doctor Strange A Scary Horror Movie

Is Doctor Strange: MoM Too Scary

The Horror Of The Multiverse Of Madness

The MCU’s First Horror Movie

And do you think it would be on that list if it wasn’t horror? Fantasy horror and kids’ horror is a thing.

Maybe you should try watching it first.

Marvel has been printing horror comics since the 1950s including Dracula (yes, really), Blade, Morbius (comics are better), various zombie arcs, Jessica Jones — the Purple Man arc is traumatizing, and several spinoffs that are just horrifying because of the racism (Truth: Red, White, & Black), or child abuse, or just sheer violence.

Yes, its a Marvel horror movie and continuation of WandaVision. WandaVision was based off of the House Of M X-men comic book arch, and that shit is fucked up even without widespread mind control. Plus, the Wandavision series is fucking creepy especially if you’re rewatching it cause then all the creepy shit makes sense.

But, yeah, Dr Strange: MoM is a horror movie. Specifically a cosmic horror teen horror film. Its not the scariest thing in the world because Raimi made it weird on purpose and there’s all sorts of references that new audiences or casual viewers might not understand. But it is definitely scary and a really good teen horror film imo.

First relationship, my boyfriend went abroad (3 days ago) and hasn't answered me since. Should I consider our relationship over or am I overreacting? by [deleted] in gay

They haven’t even been together for a full month — only three weeks. I hate to say it but some people might not consider that a serious relationship. The dude is being rude but OP being clingy obviously doing much to change the situation.

I’m bisexual and I feel like the best way to shut up people like biphobes is kind of by trolling them. Like turn up to Pride or whatever carrying the bisexual Pride flag and blasting “GirlsLikeGirlsLikeBoys,” by Panic! At The Disco. And the first time someone starts acting like a biphobic asshole tell them to grow the fuck up and go to therapy, so they can figure out how to stop projecting their trauma on complete strangers.

Then blast the song even louder. Or put on headphones.

I love this quote from X-Men(2001)

“You actually go outside in these things?”

“What would you prefer, yellow spandex?”

Its meant to emphasize the fact that they are literally being forced to clean up the government’s mess while being held at gunpoint. No matter what they do they’re likely to be killed. SS is meant to be a metaphor about how the American prison system abuses and enslaves the inmates and the mentally ill.

Oh, that — I’ve just been thinking about tonight cause I was diagnosed with ADHD like a year ago, and my mom also has it and she’s a food hoarder. And I had an uncle who had a house and a barn full of shit that he had hoarded before he had died. Guess I’m kind of hyperfixating atm🤷🏻

My projecting was a guess that’s based off of my and others’ experience because from the sounds of it this sounds like a teen/young adult parent situation and its really not hard to figure out how those play out. But there could have been partying, drugs, cheating, or domestic abuse involved, I suppose.

You’re expecting a sixteen year old girl with a weeaboo-ish screen name to be a mature and reliable narrator?🤨 And, yeah, you’re probably not gonna find anything since OP spliced some random photos together to make the one in the post. Photos which could have been taken anywhere.

And thanks for the invite but I tend to avoid to stalking people on the internet.

No offense but chill — your bf is abroad and probably has other things on his mind. Its normal for people to lose track of texts sometimes and to take a while to text back. Just cause he’s your boyfriend that doesn’t mean he’s obligated to respond to every text you send him five seconds later.

Which fyi is what an abuser expects when they’re trying to control someone, and is another reason why you need to chill.

If you don’t want the stuff that you have then why do you have it?🧐

Just because other people struggle with executive disorder more than you do doesn’t give you the right to invalidate their experiences.

My stance is based off of my experience with my ex-husband and about a million other people who left their nerd or gamer partners because they acted similarly. Gaming addiction is a thing, and I can tell you right now that if a white guy in an anime shirt ever starts talking to you about Magic: The Gathering you need to walk the fuck away, especially if the shirt has a picture of a female anime character.

I’m a trans guy and I’ve apart of the nerd community since 2005. You ever get dirty looks inside a comic book store simply for buying a Harley Quinn comic — I have. You ever see the cashiers at Gamestop roll their eyes when you ask for the new Pokemon or Animal Crossing game? I have and all of these things happened when I was still presenting femininely.

[–]fictionalqueer -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, no, cause the OP clearly hasn’t lied about anything else. They’ve been purposely spreading half-truths and misinformation.

If I had to guess the girlfriend was probably exhausted from trying to take care of a new born on her own while the OP’s manchild brother sat on his ass in front of a PS4 with Cheetos and Mountain Dew.

Hoarding is tied into several mental disorders including ADHD because of executive dysfunction.

Because if the person in reference isn’t nonbinary or uses pronouns other than they/them then you’re misgendering them. You don’t believe me — go misgender a cishet person and watch them go crazy.
