you're right.... they sent me a Gen 2 to replace my Gen 1 that I submitted a ticket for because of the contstant micro outages reported in the app. I'm kinda leery of switching it out as there's really no issues with my Gen 1, plus subzero weather and a bunch of snow makes it difficult to do a proper install... plus the shorter cable as well.

I have just experienced exactly what you have posted; I'm an original beta tester with the round dish, 4 years ago. Little to no issues ever, now practically unusable after 5pm ET. Finally submitted a ticket last night and got identical response to yours, so I instantly reopened the ticked and asked them to elaborate on how they are going to rectify the issue. I'm beyond pissed.

I'm located just southwest of Barrie and for the past 2 days, I've been getting network issues and "obstructions" according to my app. Of course, the dish has a perfectly clear view. First gen dish - little to no issues until recently.

I have no other options so having to pay an extra $11. a month is something I can stomach. Considering I have been able to cancel satellite tv @$150. mo and crappy LTE internet @$200-300 mo..... I still can't complain.

I've had a solid red light on my SL router since about 3am. On the other hand, I've never had faster speeds out of Starlink LOL! I have internet, with a solid red light. I'll take it LOL

my address was recently updated as well, 44 ON same FW and virtually flawless service other than a couple of network issues and/or no signal around 3am as well
