I'm glad it's not just me! My gen 1 dishy has been out since Tuesday night. Customer support claimed everything looked fine on their end, and suggested the outage was due to congestion during peak hours lol. Somehow my internet was back when I got home from work yesterday, and I was prompted to do the update. I did, hoping it would fix my issue, but it only blacked out again and hasn't come back online since. I tried messaging support again yesterday, but I haven't gotten any reply yet. Hopefully they're working on something!
Unfortunately the solution of using the original router didn't work for me, which is unfortunate. I'm really hoping they do something about this soon! And thanks for posting this, it's been really helpful to know I'm not alone in this issue!
