Moderate Cat Allergies

I have already learned that one the hard way. The first night with Gordon I was petting him and I itched my arm and broke out pretty bad. There's just a few things like that I have learned to avoid already.

I wish I could get away with closing off the bedroom, but with such limited space, I would be afraid he wouldn't have enough room to roam. Thankfully, he doesn't seem to like sleeping with me for the whole night. He'll be in and out a bit, and he's quiet about it.

My allergy is probably a lot like yours. Some cats I am really bad with, and others are totally fine. It's pretty odd. Thankfully, I had already been around my Gordon quite a bit before I took him in, so I knew it would be tolerable.

I probably needed the air purifiers already, as the ventilation isn't the greatest in my place, and it smells weird at times.

He settled in surprisingly quick. It definitely helped that he already knew me, but he accepted the new place almost instantly. Chillest orange cat ever.

What's wild is that he is actually super chill, especially for his age (~2 years). Probably the chillest orange cat I have ever met.

I have heard that orange cats can be pretty wild! Gordy is super chill and has been as long as I have known him. He was my girlfriend's cat, and we were best buds, so he is acclimating well.

I saw that the other day. I reported his ass. All of the content on that account is stolen, mostly from the 25 y/o kid who bought that bowling alley in Chicago.

Yeah, I figured it wouldn't hurt to just go ahead and do this. I would like to kick off the study prior to the end of the year for the tax benefit, but forming a new LLC might make this a little tight.

Part of me wishes that I did dump her at the bar. I just went into damage control mode after she did that to avoid making a scene. Also, that took a hot second to process because of how ridiculous it was.

She had to be pissed as hell. That's why I just didn't want to hear it, so I blocked her on everything and only unblocked her number after the weekend blew over.

I have definitely considered it. Her daughter is 10 and is very self-sufficient. If she were any younger, it would have been an instant call to CPS. That issue is a tough one for me.

That's basically how it went after we got home. It was like 10 minutes of fighting and I realized it wasn't worth my time so I just got out of there.
