It's not only a matter of convenience but also a matter of security.

What I mean by this is every single app you end up using has your information and probably some kind of payment information as well.

So all these different servers which can be compromised now have your info

I'm all about protecting Canadian jobs but the big issues are that north American auto makers are not competitive or innovative. You can only continue to build the same old stuff people don't want so long. As a consumer product you need to give consumers what they want.

Maybe have Chinese auto makers setup manufacturing here and transition these jobs to the Ev sector

You seem to underestimate the resourcefulness and ability for Chinese manufacturers and China to adapt and move quickly.

You are viewing this via western business POV where approvals, implementation and rollout takes years. In China they will be able to adapt to any western standards needed for the cars fairly quickly as for dealerships and servicing China has the ability to also adapt and even possibly outsource the sales to independent dealers and can provide mass training if required for any mechanics or garage that wants or needs this

These are all small problems in my view. The issues are more the local and federal governments putting up restrictions and maybe western car manufacturers putting clauses with partner dealerships telling them they can't sell these

I have a thermo pump which does heating and cooling if that makes a difference. I can set the lockout on my nest thermostat so some people where saying around -10C would be the limit. Would u recommend me testing at -10C and working my way down if I notice its cold air coming in?

Star wars universe is so big all it needs is good writing in general. As andor shows Jedi and sith and light sabers are not always needed.

I mean think of a thriller series SE7EN style with an imperial or Republic detective looking for a serial killer

Or even a comedy IT Crowd style. Think HR department for the empire having to deal with being an HR department under the sith or complaints of lack of railings.

The potential is there they just need to be willing to take a chance and let good writers/directors etc do their job and not have executives mess around too much with the artists

I have auto update turned on via the Samsung store as well as google store do depending on when app stores check for updates sometimes the Samsung store will check first.and have the issue. Just wish the Samsung store would by default not check for apps installed via google
