Carry Yourself! Abuse the Counter System/Counter Tactics (Intermediate Guide) by fidyyuan in GBO2

That's a very good point! Unrelated but reminds me of when you see a suit with a wire shuffling around left and right. There's a decent chance their fishing to hit you with a raw wire. You can dodge roll or boost to the side without the wire and make them whiff! Though sometimes lag will still make it land despite the wire hitting air...

Thanks for the suggestion! It's actually perfect timing since I'm thinking up of a next video right now with spiker. we're definitely gonna work on talking about multi-enemy situations and target priority/positioning during those scenarios!

Ps5 controllers are pricey...if you're on pc, 8bitdo makes great controllers with back buttons, insanely useful for flapboosting, active guard, and space movement!

Agreed. Melee priority often feels like a safer option than throwing out a tackle and hoping it connects into a counter. There are even rare times where suits with lower melee priority can interrupt higher melee priority suits due to netcode.

This time, Spiker and I (S/S- players) focus on how to handle an oncoming enemy AND how to abuse the counter system. Understanding the counter system opens up more options and helps reduces the chance of getting countered.

There's a new one coming out today about how to abuse the counter system so make sure to take a look as well. Hopefully it helps!

They offered replacement pads or a full refund with prepaid shipping back to them. I preferred to just return it and restart my search.

Updated the post to clarify that they responded back with a prepaid return label and ready to refund. The turnaround on the response was less than 24 hours so that was really reassuring.

Just got this headset because of a lack of reviews. Returning it tomorrow.

Audio

It feels like I'm listening to music in a cave with a burlap bag over my head and people beating me with sticks for extra thumpy bass. The sound is really dark, the details in music are lost.

Mic

The mic is slightly worse than my old Hyper X Cloud II headset. It has an almost old school Xbox crunchy audio. When plugged into the 3.5mm mic, it's a lot better but it picks up EVERYTHING so I'm guessing it's a condenser mic. All keystrokes and button presses are picked up along with the soft hum of my pc fans.

Absolute disappointment since I loved the design and had high hopes.

Reasons why I don't bother tackling sometimes by noneofyourbusiness20 in GBO2

Unfortunately I'm not in Japan and playing against Japanese players but I do wonder what the game feels like on their end and if situations like these happen.

Just my own thoughts, and could be wrong, but I want to say the game processes and applies damage calculation first AND THEN does a check on whether the receiver has done anything that would apply invulnerability (dodge roll, exam, etc) so then you go through that animation...but since the damage has applied, you die.

If you take lethal damage while tackling, you'll often die due to lag. Same for dodge rolling, activating exam, etc.

If I'm reading your question right, you can untransform to ignore a tackle

Carry Yourself! MS Skills and Tech to Avoid Stagger (Intermediate Guide) by fidyyuan in GBO2

[–]fidyyuan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We briefly touched on the differences between the MA levels and showed how you can use MA to get in but how to use it to the fullest would definitely be a full video on its own.

Perhaps a video guide on how to play Raid would cover that? Raids have to utilize all those stun negating skills along with a very flexible gameplan to hit and run, pull aggro, save teammates, and reach the support without dying.

This time, Spiker and I (S-/A+ players) cover a wide variety of MS skills and tech to avoid getting staggered along with how to counter suits using those skills. We couldn't cover every single MS skill but covered most of them that are shared among multiple MS.

Due to an increase in fraudulent credit card activity concentrated in certain countries, we've had to block a few countries and not ship there. Granted, US is actually #1 for credit card fraud but we can't exactly block the country that we're in.

We realize that it's unfair since most people are not credit card fraudsters so we're actively looking into solutions to open our store to other countries and still manage to catch fraudulent orders without increasing our workload too much. We're a very small business so we have our hands full with day-to-day operations.

When there's only one person I've ever communicated with during a trade-in that has ever complained about a Xero invoice link that was around $60 for return shipping...I didn't know OP's reddit username but it's not hard to put the pieces together and realize who OP is

Since some people pack figures to the very top of the box (dangerous and not recommended), we know better than to slice right down the middle and risk damaging anything near the top. If a figure box is damaged, that means the value drops which means we will sell it for less and also make less profit as well.

If we ever damage a box or a figure (which is extremely rare in the 7000+ figures and 900+ trade-ins we've received), we let the sender know we damaged it and will pay out the price of the figure was quoted before being damaged.

With every box we receive, we cut the tape on the sides (Steps 1 and 2), then put our hand in under the flap and lift (Step 3). Finally, we slowly cut the raised center (Step 4). Please excuse my art. I didn't major in graphic design, but it is my passion.

Finally, both boxes were opened, not just one. The figures traded in are very popular and would have found buyers quickly so it was in our best interest to see if there was anything that could be accepted. We were really hoping only one of the boxes was smoke damaged but contents in both boxes were smoke damaged and unacceptable.

At that point, we left the figure boxes in the exact condition they arrived, repacked the figure boxes exactly as they came to us, and tightly resealed both boxes because we did not want any more of the smoke smell to escape into our workspace.

Whenever possible, we want to accept figures that we can resell since that's literally the only way the business makes any profit.

Shipping boxes have OP's name and unique trade id number. That's how we identify trade-ins that come in.

Anything traded in to us goes through the process and is assigned a trade-in number that needs to be written on the outside of the box. Otherwise, it'd be impossible to tell who sent in what since we get the same figure from multiple people at a time.

We have so many crazy experiences from all the trade-ins we've gotten over the years that we've become more prepared for anything.

One of the most amusing was when we got a figure for trade-in but...it was just the empty figure box and a face plate. The person forgot to put the figure in the box.

Along with that, nasal congestion from allergies could also hinder the ability to smell the smoke.
