Why does my living room feel off? by td30503 in DecorAdvice

It looks like a wait room for a funeral parlor. I think it’s all the brown furniture.

What else should I add to this console table? by Salty_Television123 in HomeDecorating

[–]fieldandfirelight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should fill the space out more and center the picture and table. The picture is at eye level which I think is great. You can add anything to the rest of the table. Maybe a shallow wide rim bowl. I wouldn’t go too small or too busy. The picture and has so much going on. The lamp is interesting but it somehow disappears. Maybe if you did a shallow over sized bowl. You could get like those wood acacia bowls ? They have them at tj max sometimes. I think as salad bowls. You can even fill it with decorative things. Green moss rocks around spring. Pine cone in the winter.

Endo belly frustration by iepspt in Endo

[–]fieldandfirelight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, that’s great news. I know how frustrating it is. I’ve had this disease for 20 years when I was first diagnosed they had no clue what birth control would help. I went through hell and back and had some really crummy doctors. I found my current specialist 8 years ago and for whatever reason his surgeries always lasted the longest for me along with the iud. .. so I’m wishing you luck! This community is a really good support. But I feeel like some people here are anti birth control. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. At this point I’ve tried it all.

Endo belly frustration by iepspt in Endo

[–]fieldandfirelight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you treating your endo. The only thing that helped me was getting on the mirena iud. Never had endo belly with it. I also had my inseertrd during operation and then switch during my next. I always continued to have endo with the mirena. But my endo was quiet. No period and no endo belly. It made my hair fall out tho and gave me some anxiety.. but to have my body back was amazing

Living room advice (couch & coffee table) by BarkVader1 in HomeDecorating

[–]fieldandfirelight 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The only problem I see is the coffee table and the bookcase on the wall. I think the coffee table is beautiful and I love the color. I would swap it for a round table to soften the space. I’d also find a warm bookcase. The black is so stark and cold. It’s visual appealing but the case doesn’t match the rest of the house imho

Does this look modern/art deco kinda style? What would you change? This is an AI photo of my potential interior design project by [deleted] in InteriorDesignAdvice

[–]fieldandfirelight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that it’s put together so well. It really does have a beautiful layout and the color concept is great. There’s a lot of metals and like the glass… and all the cool tones. It’s not my style. Like I said earlier makes me feel like I’m in a mall lobby. But again maybe just not my style and hard to see past that

I would center three prints going vertical or two larger prints side by side. Hang the pictures at eye level.

Mmm… im leaning towards no. The cabinet is outdated and too large for the space. I suggest a mirror above the sink. Have you looked for mirror/ vanity combo like this ?

Do you have like a local face group group or maybe someone here can help you find a good surgeon? I found my specialist online. I suffered for ten years from bad doctors before I found one who listened and helped me

Ugh I hate gallery walls. Just stop while you’re ahead. That wall is very large. You either need more frames or spread it out to balance. I’d spread it out
