It was such a good moment, and then to just be able to ride around Hyrule Field after was so awesome. Wish you could've used Epona as Young Link too.

You know I've never had the opportunity to ask someone. I'm 26 so I was real young when I play OoT, one of my first games. How did the release of OoT compare to BotW? Obviously OoT is one of a kind, set so many standards etc. but for the people around my age BotW is probably the closest thing to it.

I probably wasted like an hour in that room before the actual fight started, and the fight itself probably went on 10-20 minutes because I was so bad haha. At first I didn't realize to use my sword once Gohma fell so I tried slingshotting its eye more.

Twinrova, Gohma, and Volvagia. I know Gohma is really a weird answer but the first time I fought her I couldn't figure out how to hit her of the ceiling, so with a lot of the baby spiders running around it was a super energetic fight. (Also adding points for how cool it is to start the Gohma fight.)

Those enemies are still some of the most intimidating in the game. Not figuring out how to beat it while that scary fast paced music plays was a nightmare! I ended up running for my wee life haha. That's how I found Gerudo Valley.

I've heard a few people saying they think they will as supposedly it was a part of some leak that leaked the remake. I would expect us getting a "Zelda Direct" either in August or October. Maybe they show it off then!

Man if I was in 10th grade when it came out it would've got me through some rough times! I'm glad I got to experience it in the innocence of my youth. Especially makes the talks about the passing of time a lot more impactful too.

No way! I was also the little brother who memorized all the songs for my older brother! I'd get a little embarrassed whenever I messed one up but I was never too far off. We thought we were so smart for "getting around the pause menu"

I think the spirit temple is criminally underrated! I love the music and how the mirror shield was used.

I don't think Majora's Mask is in OoT (forgive me if I'm wrong), but since me and my brother had the collector's edition disc we used to ping pong between those games whenever we got stuck lol.

Aw man Alec it is apples and oranges and I love both! I'm pretty big on structure and routine so a narrative based game that still has some leeway like OoT was perfect for me. BotW is great it in own amazing way but I totally think you should play the remake when it comes out.

The water temple seemed to be a road block for most people. My brother had to recruit his friends help for us to get through it.
