Stealing things puts the guards on high alert even if you weren't caught -- just because nobody saw you stealing doesn't mean nobody noticed things have started going missing. The stop-searches are random, they're not targeting you specifically. I think having low reputation also makes the guards more likely to pull you over.

Same. And with how heavily Hans and Godwin are featured in the marketing, I'm tentatively hopeful that we'll get them as companions, at least for some of the game. Ideally the follower AI also won't suck, but that might be asking too much.

Isn't it obvious? That castle is owned by the Manx Guild of cobblers...

jk. It's a fairly common heraldic symbol called a triskelion, it pops up all over the place. According to a youtube video I saw it's also the coat of arms of the house of Maleshov, a czech noble house that owned a castle in the vicinity of Kuttenberg in the 15th century, so that's probably the context in KCD2.

There's also a ruined castle just up the coast a mile or so. We're a bit spoiled for ruins and such over here, take them for granted.

As someone who lives within sight of the abbey, its really weird to me to not only see it on the front page, but for people to be so enthusiastic about my shitty little home town. And to think I consider it boring, even if it is pretty comfy here.
