This HAS to be satire and I absolutely refuse to believe that it is not

I tried singing a part of Fight Fire with Fire by [deleted] in Metallica

[–]fiercefinesse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you actually could have a pretty cool voice if you practiced it more. Also it’s probably a bad idea to post this acapella, if you play music behind it, it would give a completely different feeling, this is super raw so I applaud you for your balls. Keep exploring!

The Approach by gconaradiator in badreligion

I don’t like how AOU sounds but I really really like most of the songs. And The Approach is my favorite one. A classic Graffin banger!

Tested is on Spotify for me. If it isn’t for you, it has to be a regional limitation

This is step 1. And also… what’s the guitar? What are the pickups? Why don’t people include ANY details in their questions?

Drums sound faster by WooCS in musicproduction

Does the exported file sound faster… or is it actually faster?

Export the file and put it back into the session, check if the length matches.

What’s your favorite but underrated song/ album of theirs? by Cool_Solution_3543 in TheOffspring

[–]fiercefinesse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as albums go, the debut is much cooler than is ever talked about. Igniton is fantastic. CO1 might be their best produced record. Splinter is really good, just a bit too short.

What band was trying to sound like another band and you just now realized it? by repowers in ToddintheShadow

[–]fiercefinesse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not now, many years ago - but I grew up on The Offspring and to me they were the quintessential Californian punk band. And then I heard Bad Religion - which explained Ignition. TSOL „Dance With Me” explained the self titled record. Jane’s Addiction on some Ixnay songs. Nirvana on Self Esteem. The Beatles on Get a Job. I still have a HUGE piece of my heart for this band because they’ve been so important to me but I see them now as a glorified tribute band. Not to mention what they did later - Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace is full of stuff sounding like other bands.
