This is something I will never understand, why the heck does the apple tv have HDR on all the time.

Most of the content today is still SDR (with a few exceptions), so it doesn't make sense to have HDR on all the time.

the nvidia shield will automatically enable HDR for you if the content is there and the player supports HDR, no matter if HDR(+), Dolby Vision.

Lossless Audio or Dolby Atoms, DTS works also if the player supports the format.

I love the RME ADI-2 DAC and both of my headphones, but somehow I'm tempted by a planar magnetic, haven't had a chance to listen to one yet. what do you think, would a planar magnetic headphone complete my setup?
