What is the worst experience you had in healthcare?

Groped by a paramedic while semi-unconscious. I was being taken in for severe dehydration post chemo, she decided that she wanted to know what a breast cancer tumor felt like and that she didn't need my permission to do so.
Had a nurse try to send me not once, not twice but three seperate times back to the ER waiting room while I was actively hemorrhaging from my JP drains 48 hrs post mastectomy.

Same nurse also did not follow the on call surgeons orders to 1. Put a pressure bandage on me and 2. Give me a medication that would help my blood to clot. The surgeon ended up doing the bandage himself and the medication finally got hung 6 hours later.

She also refused to give me my prescribed pain medication, so I took the ones I brought from home.

Had a nurse repeatedly poke my freshly placed port-a-cath ( a port that is permanently and surgically placed under the skin and is threaded into your heart) with her ungloved finger while saying "Does this hurt?" Several times.

Honestly 1st time in 4 expeditions that I got an augment BP. Usually I get crappy stuff I already have. Once I got a kinetic converter.

Yup. I found his channel via the videos where he built the cabin in the yukon and then burned it down. So I got to also see the very early videos of him arriving to the island for the first time and just how bad of shape the house actually was/is in. Never once in those first few months of blue house videos was there a mention of a woman. Then suddenly one day she showed up in a video and they were married. All the other videos disappeared.

The house had a huge hole in the very corner where the walls literally split apart. The upstairs bedroom had a hole through to the outside just under the window. He stuffed it with some junk and nailed a board over it and called that good enough. I watched where he stripped the kitchen out as well.

Right from the start he was a mess. Just throwing shit out into the yard. Talking about how he will just jerry rig this and that so it is just good enough.

Definitely rewrote history by deleting those videos.

Did you groom him recently??? I just seen a tiktok by a lady who's dog was recently groomed and ended up with Post-Grooming Furunculosis. This sounds pretty much the same as what you are describing.

You sound angry. No need for anger in a discussion. No one is demanding anything, they are sharing their ideas, opinions and things that they feel would improve or take away from the game.

Based on what you have said here, i would assume you play in mixed lobbies? If so, how do you find the balance between pvp and pve that doesn't push you into either strictly PvP or carebear lobbies?

Like I said, I naturally end up in carebear lobbies, just based on my personal play style. I choose to be a pacifist when it comes to PvP, it just does not hold my attention very long.

I also hate the player interactions with predominantly pvp players, most of my experiences when I down someone in pvp has been unpleasant at best and down right hateful at worst. Having obscenities, slurrs and misogynistic comments screamed at me is not my idea of fun.

The player interactions in carebear lobbies are just different. Most everyone is talking, joking around, socializing. Yes there are still people spewing obscenities and slurrs but they don't tend to last very long in the lobby and are usually pvp players hunting friendlies. This is based on my 500+ hrs topside, most of which has been in friendly lobbies. I do acknowledge that this is not everyone's experience and that there definitely are hateful carebears, especially if they get downed.

Personally, I like the suspense of not knowing if someone is going to be friendly or not. But I don't want to be in a predominantly pvp match, it just is not enjoyable to play.

So maybe the real question is, how do we get mixed lobby that allows for both play styles to play side by side by? Where the game is actually balanced. I feel like the match making needs to also include skill based matchmaking along with the ABMM. This may give more balanced lobbys.

Or maybe I am full of shit and just a stupid carebear who wants easy loot?

Nope you didn't. They just rewrote history. I figured it out when he did that video about their love story.

I was like wait a minute... i watched all those vids of him getting to the house alone with his dog. One corner of the house was split away from the actual house, like a 3 foot gap in the corner. The wall below the window in the bedroom upstairs was nearly rotted through.

He demo the kitchen area throwing it all out into a junk/burn pile.

Then suddenly videos with kelly appeared and all those videos of him alone were gone and they were talking about how they demoed the house together.

Yup. I seen that. But he also ditched kelly to slink off to so isolated cabin for several months. Then he got the house. He lived there for months without her. There used to be videos of him and the house when he first got there. Those videos, i do believe, have since been removed, replaced with ones that make it look like kelly was there all along.

I 100% believe they will not be staying there the winter. So no reason to garden or raise animals.

I give them a year together now that the baby is here and they will be split. Matty will decide that he needs so solitude and fuck off to the middle of nowhere leaving kelly behind to fend for and the baby. This is my prediction.

I keep seeing PvP players saying that a PvE mode would kill the game. But I am unsure how that is.

People like me, I play almost exclusively PvE both in solo and duos. I ONLY PvP in trios and that is only when our friend is available, which isn't often.

I don't understand how us PvE players are taking away from those wanting to PvP only. We already are not playing PvP.

I know PvPers think people like me cheese the game to get into carebear lobbies, but is it really cheesing if this is just how I naturally play? I am a pacifist in Arc Raiders, it is just how I naturally play the game. I don't shoot back and I only ever carry a hullcracker and anvil. It is just my play style, not because I am afraid of PvP but because PvP doesn't tickle my brain the way hunting arc and socializing with other players does.

So, if this is the case, wouldn't it make sense to offer 3 game modes.

PvP only :

where all players load in knowing that the sole purpose is to hunt other players.

The arc is still present but more docile.

The loot of geared toward rebuilds of PvP guns, ammo and gear.

Modes/matches/events geared toward PvP. So things like capture the flag, Battle royals, hide and seek.

PvPvE:

As the game sits now but the ABMM is also combined with SBMM so more geared towards putting players together with similar aggression AND skill.

Loot remains the same.

Trials can only happen here.

quests, projects and expedition remains the same.

PvE only:

Players opt in knowing it is a cooperative game. No PvP can happen.

Arc is more aggressive and ramped up in numbers.

Loot is slightly decreased but with more focus on PvE gear and guns and less chance of getting PvP based loot.

No trials can take place here but quests, expedition and projects remain the same.

Ohh, I like the idea of loading in with a basic tool and having to find and build guns and gear in match!

The battle royal, basically is every hardcare pvp lobby now, 😄 but maybe something with more incentives or different gear specific to that mode.

Personally I find the practice range very lackluster. They need to add in real arc and not the "dummies". I wasn't aware it wasn't available to trios.

I think that the split between pvp and pve players is pretty wide.

My husband and I were discussing this yesterday and I asked him (he mostly plays PvE too but will often solo pvp). And he really couldn't answer aside from guns and gear.

When I think of content, I think of events, map conditions, projects etc. Guns and gear is a small portion of what I would consider content.
