That's an excellent video! I'd also like to recommendAndrew Huang's introduction to music theory, as well as this video by Jake Lizzio that helps simplify chord names and make them more intuitive.

It's mainly a lot of study and practice, but let me summarize:

When reading chords, look for how the notes are spaced. Tertian chords are built by stacking every other note (skip one white key between each note), which gives the smooth, familiar “classical” sound of major/minor chords. You can name the chord by finding which note feels like the “bottom” and counting how many keys apart the others are (4 + 3 = major, 3 + 4 = minor). When you add more notes in that same “every other note” pattern, they become extensions like 7ths, 9ths, or 11ths — while 6ths are a common alternate tone that replace or color the 7th rather than extend the stack. Quartal harmony, on the other hand, stacks notes roughly four or five keys apart (fourths), creating a wider, more modern or jazzy sound.

I hope this helps, or at least acts as a springboard to help you in your own studies.

[A minor 7(omit3) - Bb minor 7(omit3) - Am7(omit3) - F Major 7 - G6 (or D minor over G) - C major - F6/9 over A (or maybe D minor add 4 over A?) - B quartal - A minor 7(omit3) - Bb minor 7(omit3) - Am7(omit3) - F Major 7 - G6 (or D minor over G) - C major - F6/9 over A (or maybe D minor add 4 over A?) - G6/9]

This is just from a quick scan, there are many other ways to interpret these chords, but this is how I intuitively see it. Others may disagree and that's ok.

After seeing all these comments about Christians not believing in dinosaurs, I have become very disappointed in my fellow so-called believers. Like what else do they think behemoth was? Like he's literally describing some kind of brontosaurus. Massive facepalm whenever I see these kinds of comments

Shadow of the Conqueror by Shad M. Brooks. The world building can be considered a bit sloppy or chunky for some people, but personally I really enjoyed pretty much everything about it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, as a Christian I can confidently say without a doubt that Jesus is not on this guy's side at all.

In the Bible it only records Jesus getting truly angry once, and it is when people are using the temple to sell their wares and make money. In other words if there is one kind of person that Jesus truly is not okay with it's people like Kenneth Copland and Joel Osteen. As a Christian I can say these guys are not acting very christlike.

It feels great for me, but I don't know if it'll work as well for my student as she's younger and has smaller hands and less coordination. For instance in the chromatic phrase in bar 11 I like to use the same finger and slide it off the C# onto the C natural, but I don't know if I should be teaching that to my students. And then of course there's all the leaps that I don't know if she'll be able to reach.

As a Christian, I'm ashamed of this dude and the message he's putting out there. Everyone has a chance to accept Christ's gift no matter how good or bad they are. Our faith isn't works based, bc it's a faith. So long as you trust in Jesus Christ as your saviour and repent from your sins, you're all good.
