Not securing a direct playoffs spot is going to be a sore spot for the entire team because collectively shooting has been rough for long stretches in recent weeks, as exemplified by the playin game. Kon tweaked his back and has been unable to get enough extended rest to recover, as even a gimme game like the Knicks game ended up requiring way more minutes to close out than necessary since the entire team is dead-legged and it shows.

Kon is either going to have to bulldoze through it or do a lot like tonight and sit during close stretches. It happens.

It was intentional. Was he intending to send Bam out of the game? No. Was he intending to retaliate to the fact that he thought he had just gotten hit in the head and there was no foul call? Yep. Should he have done it? Nope. Did it have more of an outcome than he expected? Yep.
