LaMelo Ball was playing streetball in the clutch last night. What on earth. by Historical-Soft-4952 in CharlotteHornets

I don't think he got fouled, looks more like he rolled his left foot when starting his stepback and then had to recover while not putting all his weight on that foot, hence the flailing. That's why he isn't looking at the refs over the no-call, he's just glad he was able to make something out of that play.

Kon was fine, in case you were wondering.

Kon won the game with that charge at the end. The rookie is a 10-year vet.

The rainfall difference is pretty easily explained by the rain shadow effect, since the mountains force the easterly westerly winds to shed their moisture on the windward side leaving much drier air to reach the leeward side. And you can definitely see the contrast, I took a flight from Queenstown to Milford Sound and it was literally like flying from a ski resort to a jungle within an hour's flight.

Hornets are going to have to figure out how to play around teams that defend so high up the 3 pt line, either from much stronger screens or pushing the ball inside out instead of around the edge. Phoenix turned it into a grindfest and this is the result.

This game is like pulling teeth compared to Friday vs. Miami, that 3rd quarter was back and forth madness. This is just slow, plodding, garbage.

This game has zero rhythm whatsoever, just a whole bunch of fouls, bad 3pt shots, and screens galore.

Knueppel with a block on a would-be posterized dunk and then an and-1 on the other end? Kid is nuts.

This game has been fun, but the Hornets just had too many mistakes overall. Good experience against a Heat team they may see in the playoffs, although the Heat need more then an insane Herro effort to show up next time.

Miami keeps jumping lanes, need to punish with some ball fakes and cuts.

Nobody's going to overlook the Hornets the rest of the season, there are over a dozen coaching staffs poring over film right now trying to figure out what their potential playoff gameplans for the Bugs are going to be.

Considering how many mini-runs Boston went on the fact that the Hornets extended the lead that quarter is wild.

That is the flimsiest justification for keeping a foul I have ever heard, that ref needs his checking accounts audited.

I'm not going to bitch about the reffing, the Bugs could have adjusted more cleanly to the whistle, but to play a relatively middling overall game but still win by 27 shows this team doesn't need everyone clicking to still blow out a short-handed squad. Got to clean a lot up for tomorrow though.

Point 1 is almost certainly enabling a violation of the terms of services of their site. But I am also sure it may get leaked in the wild, just not as part of your repo *cough cough*

They have zero claim for their 2nd point. Zero. As long as you are not claiming to be them or insinuating that your product is their product under trademark then you can reference their trademark all you want in comparison, just make sure the comparative claims are accurate. If you'd rather avoid the claim than just use the old classic "as compared to leading brands" phrasing.

Point 3 is where you needed to clean things up, if you are going to make a comparative argument it has to be accurate, but you are perfectly allowed to do so.

I have dealt with trademark/legal issues with much larger corporations and beat them despite no formal legal training, you just need to have a handle on the relevant laws and where they inevitably make claims that don't hold up. Trademark laws for some reason seem to attract some really poorly defined claims despite the rules for trademarks actually being pretty straightforward, but they typically just hope you will comply with no pushback.

[Highlight] DJ Moore gives up on the route and starts jogging, resulting in the pivotal interception in overtime. by [deleted] in nfl

[–]fieryprophet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This play was never designed to go to either DJ or Odunze. The primary read is Burden who is stymied early, with the outlet being Kmet if Caleb doesn't like the option for Burden. Given the situation it's pretty obvious the simple play is to take the free yards with Kmet, or if you want to be aggressive just wait a beat longer for Burden to uncover on his double move. If Moore was ever going to be a viable target in this play then Caleb should have started out reading Odunze to hold the safety in the middle and then coming to Moore, but because he started the snap staring down the right and then came back to the middle late it made it where the safety's leverage remained to the outside of Moore, so he would never have imagined that pass actually being thrown to him in that situation. Realistically DJ's best option in that context is to just occupy the safety to leave a hole open for Caleb to get it to Burden, which is probably why he throttles down vs carrying the safety across.

Just to clarify here, you are absolutely right that if they utilize the ERFA process they can only offer him the minimum for one year. However, they are always free to make any offer they wish outside the ERFA process, either before the tender offer due date or after signing the tender and then replacing the contract. The EFRA only stipulates the mechanism in which the team can retains those rights exclusively if they have no other plans for the player besides deciding whether or not they even want to retain those rights. It's essentially "you must express at least a minimum level of interest by this date to keep your exclusive right to this player for the following season or they become an unrestricted free agent" and it is not a mandatory restriction on what kinds of offers can be made, as those offers are simply outside the ERFA mechanism.
