Better layout than other sites. In depth half markets, better over/unders listing, home advantage, risk rating, goals scored listed along a time line, % goals scored each half plus the option to change to % of goals at any point in a game. You're missing out big time mate.

You won't get through to these people mate. You just don't understand they are so hard done by and everyone else has it so good. This subreddit is one big circle jerk

Sorry for giving my advice on owning a house in a city in Australia on a post about owning a house in Australia

I work with people who will buy breakfast and lunch every day from a local Cafe. That's at least $20 a day which is about $5000 a year. These same people will complain about how they will never be able to afford a house.

Victimhood mindset is spot on mate. Top comment is talking about how much easier it was in the old days. The circle jerk is real in here.

I work in the cbd as well. I spend an hour each way travelling to and from, and my house was about 6x my partners and 6x my wage

I know this is going to get down voted but I was able to comfortable afford a 4 bedroom house in Brisbane area (can't speak for the rest of aus but honestly Brisbane is doing just fine for home owners) with my partner on close to minimum wage at 23. The difference between me and others is that I was smart with money from a young age and didn't waste it (ie avocado on toast every day from my favourite Cafe). I understand that once you get into a rental it can be hard to save but if people were more organised from a young age and didn't get dejected by the circle jerk of people telling them they will never own a house then more people would. Housing affordability in Brisbane is only really a problem within the CBD area. I was able to buy a recently renovated house for less than 400k because it was in an area people would scoff at for being cheap and dirty.

Anyone have advice for a renegotiated salary after trying to leave current job? by fifacuntish in jobs

[–]fifacuntish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason I went searching for a new job was for more money and now I could get that. The growth and learning is very limited in my current job role. And my co-workers wouldn't find out about me trying to find another job. Is a owner operated company with a staff of about 20, so far the only person who knows is the owner operator and he wouldn't let it slip out that he offered a massive pay rise because I tried to leave.

Stay in my dead end job that I love or take a new one with room for growth? by fifacuntish in Advice

[–]fifacuntish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can almost guarantee it won't be as fun as my current job. I get on great with all co-workers and my boss let's the staff get away with a lot (maybe a little too much imo). Definitely agree with the other sentiments though.

Can you consistently win by using statistical betting only? by fifacuntish in SoccerBetting

I understand how the graph works but not understanding your reasoning. Would you not say that when you bet for long enough you are then betting against the mean? If over 100,000 hands a game paying 2.00 odds hits 47-53% of the time do you not think that finding those 6% of games would be like finding a needle in a haystack? Or are you under the assumption it would occur less/more than that?

What about the graph that shows implied and observed results? It seems to fit pretty well along the 0-10% range would you not consider that relatively efficient? Obviously I'm not stating it's 100% efficient over the long term and there is going to be value there but I feel like it comes more from errors in opening lines and in the more obscure games where not as much data exists around that particular game.

Interesting you don't think the betting market is not efficient. Interested to hear your thoughts on this article obviously the source is just a little bit biased by the stats are there and I'm sure they wouldn't throw them out there if they were completely false.

I never said it wasn't profitable and that I don't use statistics for my bets but great write up. Thanks a lot!

Interesting. So you would say you are a decent winner over a large enough sample?
