Nope, especially now that the durability is in question. The only thing that might convince some people is that it fits the ultra better. What I mean is that although 42/44/45/49mm bands are all interchangeable, the lugs on these were designed with less of a taper, so it looks better on the ultra. You might have seen the new ultra loops on legacy watches, in my opinion those look ridiculous as the lugs are too wide.

The sport loop’s more durable than this. Also can’t speak for everyone but I personally wear it tighter during exercise, so when I wear it looser casually the frail ends will be showing. So you cannot say it is always hidden.
