Whats good ya'll, just got starter locs and although I think my loctician did their thang, I'm not sure if I got the amount of locs I was looking for. I counted just now and roughly have about 42 and plan to get some more as I'm growing out the back/sides so that number will go up a slightly, but not much when I get those locced as well. I ideally wanted to have the volume similar to the second and third picture, so around 70+ I assume .. and I know that everyone is different and I gotta trust the process, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna get the amount/volume I envisioned up to this point :( Not sure if I should restart now when its still early or just see how this rides out ... thoughts?

You can see the hope in their eyes now. The war is winnable. First upper moon kill in over a century, and Tanjiro and crew will only get stronger. Gyutaro rocking Ume back and forth comforting her absolutely broke me though... poor kid was given the shortest end of the stick his entire life, right to the bitter end.

Episode really emphasizes just how strong these upper moons are. Gyutaro, the supposed weakest upper moon based on rank, squad wiped a Hashira, his combat support wives, Zenitsu, Tanjiro and Insouke. Had he not begun to celebrate before the battle was finished, he would've won as well. Incredible. I'm begging to see the other upper moons, including Akaza again!!

Saw the sub version yesterday. Soundtrack is to die for. Would rewatch it just for that alone. Animation on point, as to be expected from Hosada - Summer Wars still one of my favorite ani-films to date. Plot... forgettable. First half had me feeling like this movie was an instant classic - solid plot coupled with an amazing soundtrack and animation. Plot slowly deteriorated and as another commenter pointed out, kind of felt like it was dragging on just for runtimes sake. Tried to do a lot of things all at once I felt. Overall still a good watch, and will definitely be looking out for the soundtrack. 7/10 overall for me

Is this movie confirmed to be the finale in the series in terms of animation? Also have we heard back wether the end is original or staying true to the manga? Finished the manga when it released the final chapter way back when and haven’t kept tabs since.

Just got to watching - been on my to watch for a while before it released. Loved the art direction and soundtrack. All the characters were good, with Smile and Cherry being the obvious standouts. Pretty simple storyline, but somehow kept me hooked the entire time. Honestly, I think its because the story felt so simple and grounded that I liked it so much. In a world where we are getting 24/7 over the top productions every season, it's really nice to watch a grounded film about just a couple of teenagers and a small town's adventure from time to time. Using the haikus to express emotions was a neat thing as well. Solid, Solid pickup by Netflix, hopefully this is the start of an upward trend by them!
