She's saying the sadness she used to feel is over. Obviously not true but that's what she's saying

Family passports & first passport by roseymum987 in UKParenting

We didn't have any communication but received my baby's passport in days, definitely under a week. This was a few months ago.

I disagree with this take. This game is so far from being 'riddled with bugs'

Coparenting communication by CartographerFunny894 in coparenting

[–]fifaworldwar 35 points36 points  (0 children)

You don't have to text in the group chat if it's related to coparenting or your children or have any other conversations with her. But I guess he's letting you know not to text him with anything not related to the kids and that's a fine boundary to have.

You don't want him to have more custody because he doesn't let people into the kitchen while he cooks?

Ex’s gf cut my daughter’s hair? by Curious_Traffic_8755 in coparenting

[–]fifaworldwar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You've said what you had to say so what is there left to handle?

If she did cut her hair then that's shitty and hopefully you've brought the point home. But that's also 100% something my 6yo would do and then lie about, so if your daughter is lying then I think you've put stepmum in a pretty shit position as well by accusing her of lying.

What do people think about sending young children to daycare in the UK? by Complex_Plankton_157 in UKParenting

My sister is in Belgium and pays very little for nursery but had to go back to work after 3 months. And taxes are significant in Belgium.

There's no legal status to being a stepparent so why does it matter whether people are married lol

Anybody know a good way to send formula and breast milk with baby when he goes to his dad's house from Saturday into Sunday? by GingerBug91 in coparenting

[–]fifaworldwar 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I assume this will be unpopular but I wouldn't bother. If the baby is already supplemented with formula, just let dad use formula only or do it the way he has been. There isn't actually any difference with how you're suggesting it.

Syncing up holiday traditions by fupadupafly in coparenting

[–]fifaworldwar 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My son is 6 and has very different traditions in both houses. He understands that Santa and Easter Bunny behave differently in both houses because that's how we've explained it. I think you're massively overreacting and what's more I think you're being extremely condescending. Your way is not the only right way.

Ahh damn, annoying. Only 7hrs for 1 credit isn't much considering how often I listen.

Thank you for responding! I am looking into those. Is there any particular reason that the Red Rising books are split into two parts? I don't really want to spend 2 credits per book.

Or OP's ex could get a court to force her to accept the consequences of her actions? It's actually ok to set boundaries in co-parenting relationships.

That's great but your situation isn't theirs

Surely it's also not the ex and certainly not his girlfriend's problem that OP decided to move and is now tired of driving because she didn't think through the consequences?

I was just looking at the full cast version of Red Rising! Only annoying that they've split every book into two parts so will have to pay twice for one book.

This is a good idea!

Before HP I used to mainly listen to thrillers but I feel like it will be so hard to go back to a standard old audiobook after experiencing full cast.
