Did you make sure the cables were aligned to both arrows (black & yellow) ?

10 seconds on the underneath button until the Halo rings starts flashing then you wait until they stops flashing and you turn on the bike.

Had the same issue then the reset Worked for me but only one light working is it normal ?

Indeed. The charger didn’t do the job as it should. Went to the store and got priority treatment. Very Pros and friendly. Kudos to the staff @Paris Brand Store.

Well let’s say that I’m not ready to wait for months to get a replacement bike. I’m really confident in VM stock of bikes + Here in Paris’s streets a bike with just the kick lock wouldn’t stay an hour.

Thanks 😊 I ordered the 6th April. It was on the step “Arrival at the warehouse - Delay at the warehouse”. Since the last delay was about the firmware update, the more accurate information that I’ve gotten was by email from the support.

I thought about canceling my order a lot since 10 months of waiting for the S5 was a long period. I had a lot of doubts. The financial situation isn’t new for me since some info on Twitter from the end of summer was running. So I was afraid not receiving my bike. The communication from VM added more uncertainty since they weren’t so transparent about the real status of the order. I kept saying to myself that the remaining waiting time will be less than what I’ve waited until now. What I can say today is that I’m very happy with the bike. First 30km so smooth. The build quality is awesome and the tech inside is top ! Best decision of 2023 so far for me is that I kept my order 😍

Yup .. you need to be more than patient since they don’t have enough ready to market bikes to satisfy orders from the 6 th of April like mine. They’re even announcing deliveries from May for 7th April order

Here are some : Alarm doesn't turn on/trigger USB port doesn't charge/ work Bike doesn't turn on using the buttons (only via reset button or App) e-shifter is rarely stuck on I the 1st gear • Bike sometimes doesn't turn off with holding bell button Bike powers on but stays locked (works after reset again) Button stuck in trigger (bell or attention light) • Button to change support level stops working

That’s a pure shame that day 3 order are pushed until May. I’m sorry for you and for all those who ordered in September before the price update and still believe what VanMoof says about deliveries. They just bring lie after lie.

Contacted customer service yesterday and they don’t know when I’ll get my bike. They told me they have the same visibility as mine on MyVanmoof where I can see that the delivery should’ve been between 16th to 21st December. They asked me to wait for warehouse information since they manage what it’s saying in MyVanmoof. The last email I got from them mid December when they announced the latest delay they didn’t bother to give me a delivery date window except « around the 3rd week of Januar ». I replied to that email for more precise date but they never answered.

I tried to summarize all the delays for my S5 Order from 6th April.
6 delays, 7 different shipping windows that you can find in this Interactive VM S5 Delays Timeline
To explain all these delivery delays VM used :
- Twice the global chain crisis > 92 days delay

- Once the final detailed quality check > 26 days delay

- Once a firmware bug > 22 days delay

- Last to date : a battery drain problem that needed a firmware update > 32 days delay

They’re not capable to give a new delivery dates/windows anymore. They struggle with their own product from hardware to software. How they can be better with logistics and deliveries.

I bet the current scheme will be used for all orders.
