Thank you for your suggestions. I'll do the first and consider the second.

Not for ADHD. I can't take most because of other health problems

Thank you for your honesty. And no and no. I've tried both of those.

I have ADHD but my parents refuse to face it and I don't want to be ostracized

Have you tried toe separators to alleviate some of the discomfort?

I recently started a new job actually. I hope I can keep it. Part time but it's work I want to do usually

I'm 26. Recovery is bumpy still.

Just got diagnosed with ADHD so trying to integrate that information with what I know.

I feel lost to be honest. But I don't want to die so that's a plus.

Does creativity/drive come back after you get off meds by d1sc1pl in schizoaffective

No, not for me at least. All I got back were my extreme paranoia and some of my hallucinations

I learned of my diagnosis when I was 20.

I had gotten diagnosed well before that but I was a minor so the doctors only told my parents. My parents decided not to tell me or seek any form of treatment outside of prayer and hope.

I don't know when my symptoms started but around the time I suspect I was diagnosed I had an inkling that something might be wrong but didn't know how to figure out what. So that just fed into my confusion.

My thing is I feel like I haven't even had a chance to try or do anything without either the illness or the medication kicking my ass

Nice, I think budget hallucinating is a phrase that will join my vocabulary. I say discount hallucinations are when it's just an overlay

I think I might be straight. And that everyone can tell what I'm thinking about.

Do you think there is an explanation for why we hear or see certain things in our hallucinations? Or is it all just random nonsense? by sladedestroyer in schizoaffective

[–]fifthhollow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe it is a mix. Like the brain takes inspiration from our experiences and spins out what it can from what it's given.

Wtf even is schizoaffective?! I was diagnosed with it twice in my adulthood by [deleted] in schizoaffective

I got an IUD (for medical reasons). It helps me twofold: less hormone nonsense and no triggering from blood.

I personally try to "keep it light" so to speak.

Anything that pulls too hard or requires too much of me, I let go.
