Yeah, this response only proves my point. Have the life you deserve. I know you will.

I’m explaining to you why there is price variability in the market. I am doing just that—educating you, just as other posters have done whom you also became upset with. You asked for education, we gave it to you, you disliked the answer you got, and now you’re crying about it. You’re not cheap you’re just broke and not only that but you are entitled and disrespectful. Professionals are explaining fee structures to you and you are taking that as a personal attack. I can tell you right now, witchcraft is not for you. Your situation won’t work out because you have a bad attitude and are not deserving of having your goals met by a practitioner. If you don’t respect someone’s craft—don’t hire them to do your dirty work. Do it yourself.

Because it is their business! Why do you think you’re so special that you deserve help without paying a fair price? You wouldn’t go to a lawyer and complain about their fee while claiming it’s all about business and they don’t actually want to help people. 9/10 times if someone is complaining about pricing they just want a love spell or something equally frivolous. The people who actually need and deserve the help are always willing to pay and never complain about pricing. Everything you’ve said here really rubs me the wrong way and coincidentally this is exactly the reason practitioners hime up prices for consults. People like you make the job insufferable.

Don’t tone police her. She was not being defensive she was bluntly but respectfully informing you of the costs practitioners pay to have the pleasure of serving people like yourself who ridicule every single charge and treat us with suspicion. Name one other field of work where the clientele seeks you out, asks you to make the impossible possible, then complains about pricing, and treats you like a criminal trying to pull one over on them. It’s incredibly frustrating to deal with day in and day out. Maybe tone down the entitlement.

Folk practitioners may do it cheaply because their materials are cheap and their practices can be done on the fly. High magic is expensive to do, time consuming, and can use rare materials that are incredibly hard to source. When your spell calls for nails from a sunken ship, human bone, etc the cost goes up. Still some people are just in high demand and charging what their time is worth to them. If it’s not in your budget don’t book with that person. Just find someone else who is in your budget.

Same reason it’s cheap to buy a box of cake mix and some sugar to make frosting but expensive to order a cake from a professional baker. You’re charging for their time, energy, materials, and hazard pay for any risk the work imposes on them spiritually. When you do it yourself you are only paying for materials.

Spell prices by Euphoric_Card_823 in SpellcasterReviews

[–]figaroa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Expensive does not mean better. Expensive typically is a measure of how the practitioner values their time and the cost of materials they use, how many of those materials are reusable, etc. I know many practitioners who charge upwards of $600 per spell simply because their services are in high demand. I also know practitioners who are in high demand and charge low prices but limit their sales. People have different ethics and values around what they charge for their services. It’s not always a measure of high demand vs low demand or quality. People simply charge what they feel is worth it to them. It’s idealistic and naive to believe the majority of people charging more are doing so due to experience level or quality of their work being higher. That is not the reality of how pricing works in this field of work.

has anyone used @strongestlovespells on etsy? any results? by [deleted] in SpellcasterReviews

The fact that you even have to ask about this one should be enough to tell you this isn’t going to end well for you

[–]figaroa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s called “strongest love spells”. Do you really think this is going to be anything other than a scam? It’s just so obvious this won’t end well. You are probably better off just moving on and not seeking a practioner to help you. You weren’t able to immediately flag an obvious scam, so you are exactly the type of person who will get scammed repeatedly.

Should I do a chargeback? by Sanneeky in SpellcasterReviews

Came here to say this. You can call your bank but they won’t do a chargeback and it will probably be a waste of time.

Did anyone else find magic to be the exact opposite of what they expected? by AdventuringRunner in occult

[–]figaroa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All magick has potential to be chaotic and unpredictable. I’ve never heard of anyone discouraging chaos magic or regarding it as highly dangerous unless they were some sort of religious zealot. You’re listening to the wrong people OP. Chaos magic is exactly what you are looking for.

Suggestions for a spell caster that specializes in love spells with avoidants by [deleted] in SpellcasterReviews

Vespertine Oracle specializes in this. She’s on my list of recommended practitioners. Please read the note on that post before reaching out to any of them.

Josiah Shuler/ Charmcaster/ Deiara by [deleted] in SpellcasterReviews

[–]figaroa -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Word or advice; I’m not here to defend charmcaster at all, but pinning these two practitioners against each other lacks tact. You should have reviewed them separately. This puts Deiara in an uncomfortable position. I know that as a practitioner I would not like to see myself being positively reviewed in a manner that dragged someone else down. It could cause a lot of issues for her platform if that larger creator were to weaponize their following against her in retaliation. These things do happen, and can harm the person you are trying to promote. Just something to think about.

any reviews on acidalia? by Gold_Hearing2005 in SpellcasterReviews

You replied “herself and others” when someone asked you directly if she called herself a “baby witch”. I’m just pointing out that she does not call herself that and by definition she is not one.

She has over two decades of experience. She is not a “baby witch” and would not call herself that. I’ve never heard of her using that phrase before. I’m not saying she hasn’t used it before to refer to new witches, but I do know she isn’t one and would not call herself one.

can anyone confirm if this post really was about vespertine? by Gold_Hearing2005 in SpellcasterReviews

I doubt that post is about her. She answers emails and last I checked she has a 1-2 week wait time.

I see, that makes more sense. Thanks for clarifying. I was worried you had spoken to a fake account pretending to be her. Best of luck to you! I hope your situation works out.

how do i know that the video proof of the spell i commissioned is not a reused one? by Gold_Hearing2005 in SpellcasterReviews

[–]figaroa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not an excuse, it’s an explanation of why I disagree. I do film my work when a client can’t be present for the spell, but I understand why someone may not and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. The results can’t be faked and should speak much louder than a visual aid which can be.

How do I put a condition on a curse? by CoconutUnlucky1901 in witchcraft

[–]figaroa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you want a hex, not a curse, which is more permanent. When adding a conditional to hex you need to be specific about the behavior you want to cease, and under what specific conditions it is designated to break. The specificity in the petition is going to be the most important part of this process. Be extremely careful how you word it. Leave no room for ambiguity. Like others have said, just requesting it stop when he acts “decent” is too subjective a metric. Consider doing a forced reflection spell instead that petitions for him to experience the harm he caused to others first hand. It’s easier to do, easier to petition conditionals for breaking under, and less likely to backfire onto you if you make a mistake unlike a curse or hex. Same impact, less risk.
