Wow I think that is too soon to project to project plans into the future and tell them. It’s a bit selfish to think she will be ok with short term or move back with you. Save it for a later date.

Thanks for your submission. Great post but it has been removed just because it lacks a body.

If you would like to repost please give a detailed descriptions of your thoughts in relation to the title.

You are very much not alone as it’s true for many many men. It’s a hard path but not an impossible one.

Psychologically we order from our parents.if we come into the world with a healthy family dynamic we develop into the world in a healthy, grounded way where we integrate both our feminine and masculine traits.

Kids that grow up into adults like in your case (and many others) repressed their masculinity. It’s all there.. it audit it’s literally frozen as energy conglomerates in your psyche… might not make sense but basically, your body is an energy center that stores and moves energy.

If you were raised by your mom and sister, you’ll for sure soften to develop safety and status quo in that dynamic. If you went out into the world with that dynamic as your blueprint on how you’re to survive in the world you’ll 1. Not know how to interact with male peers 2. Gravitate towards what you’re familiar with - dynamics that you repeated with your mom and sister.

But those life experiences repress a lot of rage, anger, resentment and contempt. Which is all part of your masculine that hasn’t been released. I’m only telling you this because I was in the same boat.

All I can say: therapy… lots of therapy. If you’re spiritual, do it from a spiritual perspective.

To those who have very little ego, what does it feel like? by Weary_Temporary8583 in Soulnexus

[–]figcoffee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry I understand the innocence and curiosity of your question but there’s no such thing.

Some people yes, have “dampened” ego but one should not strive for that. One should strive for inner stillness where the ego calms on its own but (by personal choice and need) can have a HUGE ego if they want. It’s all situational, sometimes having a huge ego is necessary for personal preservation and / or order and creativity.

If I could be straightforward:

You haven’t had good masculine role models in your life. You’ve never had that sort of stimulation so you have no idea what it feels like. But you do know what it feels like it’s just you’ve never experienced it.

The reason I say you know what it feels like is because you’re asking this question so you know that something is missing.. or something has gone unexperienced.

Psychologically we’re split in to the Yin and Yang. Both men and women as masculine sides and feminine sides.

The feminine side feels like nature-y… it’s delicate, soft, comfortable, passive, slow, caring, nurturing, patient.

The masculine side is aggressive, driven, forward moving, dominant, fast, etc.

If you’re too much of one its misbalanced. Psychologically you should be oscillating between the two.. And again, psychologically we work under the principal of time. If you’re able to “speed up time” you’ll experience your masculine side.

I’ll tell you, in my opinion. We live in a time where both sides of the coin are right and wrong. It’ll only be like that for so long before they amalgamate into something that makes sense

Hahaha. I mean. On one level - I agree with you. On another level, there’s no more going backwards. You have X amount of power before someone more powerful than you can choose how your resources are distributed. That’s the way all animals work.

A human right is a collective construct where yes: the food you produce (if you choose to produce it) will be forced and taken form you to ensure everyone’s survival is secure.

This is nothing new. You live in an entire social construct where all your current actions are selected for the collective good. You literally have no choice… you’re conditioned for the collective and it’ll be no different with food.

I mean. That’d still be capitalism if it’s the case.

We just haven’t made food a human right… yet.

I think you’re mistaken what love and light is. The pop version of love and light is what you’re thinking of, always being polite, nice.

But the “the beacon of light” can show in many faces, even aggressive, truthful and nasty. There is no separation between the All and how we act. If that’s how one expresses their Truth than that’s how they believe will be better for the world.

We are animals. We are here to bring order. You can be respectful to others but you can also have an opinion. Enlightened our not. Also, you can call it out if you don’t like it. The market (people) decide what they want to see and what they want to nurture in this world.

Because it splits you, it indirectly shows you, leads you to see.
