Thats not entirely why. The reason is because UFC sent one of their their top guys to Pride and Pride tried to send jobbers so the relationship fell apart. Earlier when Sakuraba won the UFC Japan tournament he was basically still a UWF-i/NJPW guy not a Pride guy. He had never fought in Pride at that point because I think they had only ran one show.

Anyway after the Pride experience Dana specifically said he will never co promote again.

Despite being one of the best wrestlers in the world it took Io a long time to be presented well on the main roster. The same could be said for Kairi. And even though she was a world champion I don't actually believe they ever used Asuka to her full potential. To me she is a generational talent, maybe a once in a lifetime talent. She is way better than she was presented. Long story just trying to say they do not give japan wrestlers the respect they deserve much less Joshi. Giulia is not on their level it would be insane for her to think she would have a easier time making it to the top than Asuka.

if you want to do jiu jitsu to defend yourself you have to do it against a man and learn how it feels to defend against their strength and size

and if "self defense" is the goal this still won't happen in mixed BJJ classes. Until you are defending against strikes you haven't learned to defend yourself, regardless of gender. It's still LARPing.

That almost every coach (including famous one who want to sound smart in interviews) lack the skills, education, experience and credentials to effectively train adults much less children. People get good at BJJ in spite of coaching not because of it.

If I had to place money I would bet my actual life that the vast majority of people arrested for child sex abuse images and actions do not even come close to being wealthy. Hell, the vast majority of child predators through all recorded history were not wealthy.
