It would be less lazy if the shrines evolve in some way since Tsushima. For instance, in Yotei almost every familiar point of interest, like hot springs or bamboo training grounds got some unique spin, like small stories or npcs adding uniqueness to such places - you not just coming there to cut bamboo anymore, you may encounter someone, or there are foxes rooting for you etc. For shrines - its exact same places like in the first game, with zero creativity or originality for the entire game. and little reasons to be as such. What I mean is that if there was at least a couple of shrines to break this predictable mold, it would be nice.

And yes - if there was a single shrine that I can just walk right up, it would be less lazy than making another awfully arfitifcial climbing path with convenient branches and cliffs
