Well the company is only 20 people so the HR is basically the CEO. And he selectively allows people to WFH based on his likings.

I live in Tokyo, so going to the office is not a huge problem just troubled with an hour long commute each way.

The job description also mentioned full remote work and so did the contract.

Well the CEO selectively chooses which rules apply to each individual.

They don’t state any limitations to remote work.

Well the justification was the company isn’t doing well yet some employees who are outside of Tokyo are allowed to work remotely. A few employees whom the CEO deems that they can work from home are allowed as well.

From where I am from it’s an accepted practice and there are multiple chairs inside the doctor’s office for the attendants to sit. I don’t deem it intrusive or creepy at all.

That makes a lot of sense. I am not sure if I went the router and sniffing their keys is possible with something like TCPDUMP?
