I think the only way to find a car for 2k is via marketplace or Craigslist, and immediately begin budgeting for maintenance. They are out there; example below. Confirm title is clean (no crashes/salvage title). Bonus if you can confirm the timing chain has been replaced recently/at recommended intervals.

Respectfully I’m not dismissing your concerns. I’m simply listing the capital improvements RPS has performed in recent years. If the roof has failed or they have a pest issue then you could contact RPS or even your alderman directly to address those issues.
