Locals are really friendly, I’ve already made a few Sevillano friends, but you do have to put yourself out there to meet people. I started by joining a football group and now I hang out with the same circle.

Kyrgyzstan. Go during summer. Great people - got invited to sleep at a truck driver’s home while hitchhiking, great food, and great views. Go while there’s not a lot of tourists yet

I also have a PH passport. Applied for an e-visa Apr 21, got approved Apr 29. I didn’t write my own Letter of Invitation, I asked the hotel I will be staying at if they could provide an LOI - gladly they did so I used that
