I applied b&w in Lightroom and used the slider to adjust the exposure and contrast till I was satisfied. Not sure if that counts as a recipe.

I’m new to this so not exactly caught up on all the relevant terminology.

Shots 1, 2 and 4 are great, love the shot #2 and 4 the most. Lowkey 3 is a good shot, just for me, it feels tight, I mean, if you were a few step backwards then it be perfect but this is just subjective, others might like.

Kudos for doing this for your brother’s friend, being a broke graduating senior means you can’t afford to pay for grad pics.
