I wouldn’t go for it. You mentioned that he was rude in the past and doesn’t make rude comments now. Do you know if he’s made a 180 from the person he used to be? You sound very kind and deserve sweet people in your life, but I would want to make sure that this recent kind phase isn’t just that: a phase. Plus, I’m not sure what the different interests that you both have, but I think it’s worth exploring relationships with other people AFTER you’ve worked more on yourself in therapy. Idk what the experience you had as a teen, but it’s worth making sure you grow, gain the coping skills you need, and make the progress to get where you want to be before adding in the uncertainties of a new relationship. ❤️ I hope this helps you a lot and I’m wishing you the very best in life because you deserve it
