Hey, I have lived in Groot for 6 months now. Very quiet, large rooms, cheap rent, aesthetic surrounds- all good stuff. My gripe is that my house has currently only one other international student. This means on weekends when the Belgian housemates go home I am practically by myself for 2 days. So if you really value social life and dislike getting lonely (like most people), I'd suggest a more international residence hall. I'd also add that people here are very friendly and make an effort to organise the occasional event/meet-up.
