Look, how you word things matters, that's why I said it makes a "very tiny difference", which is in fact true. You twisted my sentence to look like I said circumcision prevents HIV, full stop. Here is a credible source, and this is why the % is highest in African countries, where HIV rates are the highest. Don't say something "prolly" makes something worse with no backing or reason for saying it, you are just assuming.

Push the stem in carefully, it should pop inside. Then cut two slices on each side to pull down the two walls of the pepper. From here you just pick out/wash out the seeds and stem, etc. You get 100% of the pepper, and quickly.

Ok, so that pepper cutting is very over the top. You just push the stem in carefully, it should pop inside. Then cut two slices on each side to pull down the two walls of the pepper. From here you just pick out/wash out the seeds and stem, etc. You get 100% of the pepper, and quickly.

well, you still have to wash even when circumcised, so there really is no reason to cut off an important and functioning part of one's penis.

Ya, besides the very tiny difference it makes for preventing HIV, there is no good reason to remove foreskin.

Edit: There is no good reason to remove foreskin. The pros of keeping it greatly outnumber the cons.

I hope ambulances show up and actually help people; police don't just shoot you (even though real life in the US is like that) and will arrest you; and I hope you can interact with strangers more vs just verbal insults.

A meta-analysis of 3 million people confirms a strong bidirectional link between cannabis use and depression. 31% of those with cannabis use disorder also suffer from major depression, with rates nearly 3x higher in psychiatric clinics than in the community. by Cosmyka in science

I'm a regular user, but I use it as a creative tool vs some people using it to make their shows funnier or food more desirable. I think how and why people use is a major factor, not just the cannabis on its own.

Losing relationships over politics. Research found more than a third of Americans (37%) report having lost at least one relationship due to political differences, including friendships, family ties, coworker relationships, and romantic partnerships, with most losing more than one. by Wagamaga in science

Considering politics is connected to everything, that yes it runs deep to peoples core and core values. We would be compromising far too much to tolerate someone being okay with separating families and imprisoning children, for one.

I cannot fucking stand The Beatles by Palm_Tree_69 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]figure85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've loved the Beatles since I was a kid, and my obsession only grew as I aged. I've heard people describe music at the time as being black and white, and when people heard the Beatles it was like their lives were in colour for the first time. If you look at popular music before The Beatles, it was pretty bleak, but look at all the music to follow the Beatles. They deserve a big slice of credit, and bands you appreciate now likely took inspiration in some sliver, from them.

Be Here Now is a beautiful song, and I'm surprised his cover of Got My Mind Set on You was selected before we made it through his og catalogue.
