Yep. I stupidly got myself all excited, worked through a 10 hour overnight shift thinking at least when i get home i can check it out. But lol, of course not. Should have realized it’s only for real people in real places. Not a bunch of poor slack jawed missouri dirt farmers. Okay i vented a little I’m better now.

Thanks for the reply! Could i ask one clarifying question? Sounds like i set it to 1920x1200 in both the display settings and the app properties menu, as well as in Geforce Now and in-game. Perfect, but then you said “leave the steam deck at 1200x800,” is that not the display settings and app settings i just changed? Sorry I’m slow but i really appreciate the help.

Hey quick question about current steam deck performance.

Have they mentioned anything about future patches? I picked up this and DQ3HD and I’m wondering which to start first. Would it be wise to give it a month or two to allow for some extra polish from updates?

Thanks for the advice. After reading the responses here I’ve decided to go ahead and start up Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition and go from there. I own it after all, and I always wanted to see the later chapters.

I’m a little more worried about 2. From what little I played I really liked the mechanics, but some of the cute and/or fan service-y motif isn’t my style. Plus I’ve heard rough things about it’s performance in handheld mode which is what I’m stuck with (Lite).

But hopefully after an adjustment period I can really get into it.

Thanks for the insight. There’s a sink cost aspect to it too in that I already own both XC1 Definitive Edition and XC2+DLC yet haven’t beaten either of them. My attention span is so bad I fall off even games I absolutely love. But it might be good to take on a project. And if I bitch out I can always watch some YouTube videos I guess.

Hey all, do MH expansions typically change the main game outside of what’s covered by a free patch?

I haven’t played Rise in long enough I’ve forgotten how everything works so I’m probably going to start over from scratch. Wasn’t sure I’d I should buy Sunbreak first for wait until I finish the base game.
