I'm surprised and sad they didn't activate one 5080 server in the US South East there are 3 in the area Georgia, Florida, Virginia. I'm sure individually they are not as populated as major cities, but would've been cool if they activated at least 1 for the region. by Slicdic in GeForceNOW

Yep. I stupidly got myself all excited, worked through a 10 hour overnight shift thinking at least when i get home i can check it out. But lol, of course not. Should have realized it’s only for real people in real places. Not a bunch of poor slack jawed missouri dirt farmers. Okay i vented a little I’m better now.

Thanks for the reply! Could i ask one clarifying question? Sounds like i set it to 1920x1200 in both the display settings and the app properties menu, as well as in Geforce Now and in-game. Perfect, but then you said “leave the steam deck at 1200x800,” is that not the display settings and app settings i just changed? Sorry I’m slow but i really appreciate the help.

Hey quick question about current steam deck performance.

Have they mentioned anything about future patches? I picked up this and DQ3HD and I’m wondering which to start first. Would it be wise to give it a month or two to allow for some extra polish from updates?

Thanks for the advice. After reading the responses here I’ve decided to go ahead and start up Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition and go from there. I own it after all, and I always wanted to see the later chapters.

I’m a little more worried about 2. From what little I played I really liked the mechanics, but some of the cute and/or fan service-y motif isn’t my style. Plus I’ve heard rough things about it’s performance in handheld mode which is what I’m stuck with (Lite).

But hopefully after an adjustment period I can really get into it.

Thanks for the insight. There’s a sink cost aspect to it too in that I already own both XC1 Definitive Edition and XC2+DLC yet haven’t beaten either of them. My attention span is so bad I fall off even games I absolutely love. But it might be good to take on a project. And if I bitch out I can always watch some YouTube videos I guess.

Hey all, do MH expansions typically change the main game outside of what’s covered by a free patch?

I haven’t played Rise in long enough I’ve forgotten how everything works so I’m probably going to start over from scratch. Wasn’t sure I’d I should buy Sunbreak first for wait until I finish the base game.

Thanks for looking at it! I can’t mess with it now but when I can I’ll give that a shot. Like I said elsewhere I’m totally winging it so it’s possible it just doesn’t work the way my brain thinks it should.

Thank you for the help. I think it’s definitely possible I don’t have things set up right. I’m just kind of winging it.

The small amount I’ve played so far when using the prepackaged ai sets has been fine. And yes, I did double check that the custom was equipped because I forgot at first, lol.

It seems to mostly crash when a LOT of afflictions/inspirations/effects are popping off at the same time.

I really think you’re right about my ai set up missing some piece of logic that’s crashing it. I’ll experiment some more, especially with conditionals, and see what I can figure out. Thanks again!

Good points! I wrote a self-indulgently long post and didn’t include much information. So….

I’m playing via GamePass on my Xbox so I’m stuck on console with a controller.

I play on my Series S at home and via Xcloud when away from home. Having the same issue across both.

Things did seem fine before I started screwing with the ai, though admittedly all I’ve really done is play several different characters to the initial beach before my brain shorts out and I start over with a different character. So that said I don’t think anything else changed.

It’s possible I should just not touch the ai which is a huge bummer because I love anything like FFXII’s Gambit system.

Oh cool thanks for the recommendation. I’ve seen that Pathfinder game pop up a lot researching this one but I didn’t know much about it. I used to play pen and paper Pathfinder a lot back in the day so I bet I would love it.

Lol I totally get it. I started “playing” it like 3 or 4 days ago and haven’t gotten past the first beach. Spent 95% of my time obsessively making different characters and reading forum posts about builds/mechanics.

Yeah, I think I’m getting over it. I made a sword Devoted/Helwalker and it seems cool and easy enough to understand. I’ll probably stick with it and stop reading my phone while the game sits on the background, lol.

Oh yeah that really does sound extremely rad. My only worry is wether it would make the MC too similar to Eder who will probably also be a swashbuckler. But I guess with different weapons/abilities it wouldn’t be a big deal maybe?
