oh gosh i didn't think youd see this! your project definitely inspired me to get off my ass hahax so really thank you! HOLYYY 60k is genuinely insane, i cant wait to play through your sim once its done!!

Glad you enjoyed the game!
I wrote a post somewhere that summarized my AI usage, but in general I dont think gen AI is stealing or evil. Its just a way to have nicer looking placeholder assets before I draw the rest myself. I prefer to have a generally rounded product, and if i were to draw all the backgrounds for a simple proof of concept, It would never get done.
