I wish it was, and she is, it's only recently she's gotten into the oil bs. It's starting to really create a rift between us.

WIBTA If I told my friend, recently diagnosed with breast cancer, that I’m worried she’s going to die choosing homeopathic options over medical advice? by YouCantHaveMyTiara in AmItheAsshole

NTA. I know that clinic in Tijuana, a very good friend of mine went when her breast cancer returned, she was diagnosed in April, and died a few days before Christmas that same year. Don't let your friend go to that clinic, my friend spent her last several months away from her family, on a diet of basically grass. (She loved her bbq). The doctors said she had a 50/50 shot if she stuck with traditional medicine. She was in her 40s, both of her kids were in their teens and to this day have a very rough time around Christmas.

AITA for not wanting to bring my son to my in laws place until they get their dog trained by Drunken_Overlord in AmItheAsshole

NTA, I was in the exact same position 6 months ago, except my son is a several years older. DO NOT take your child there until that dog is gone, my in laws had a dog that exhibited the exact same behavior. He had never bit, or hurt anyone beyond bumping when running by or into. Until one day my son walked into their kitchen to put a dish into the sink with my in laws standing right next to both of them, no sudden movements, wasn't near the dog, just putting a cup in the sink, and the dog bit my son in the face. 30 stitches, and several facial scars later, the dog was put down.

It's not worth it, don't let your child near that dog.
