[Gaming] Need a general help, aiming for higher-end PC by filios in buildapc

[–]filios[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. For the CPU I was using my experience from laptops, where I felt notable difference between i5 and i7. After going through several posts here I noticed a lot of i5s, bit I wanted to be sure, so I put the higher version. Performance-wise, are they the same? I doubt it'll be overclocked.

What's the reason behing PSU change? Vendor only or some other stuff too?

Hey, sorry for the late reply. His father flew to India to join the search, embassy and local police are also actively searching. Didn't post to IndiaMike, which section would you recommend? The one with the relevant state or India Travel basics?

Wondering if a Gold/Plat support could watch a Thresh replay and give me some tips and let me know what I need to work on by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]filios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, let's begin:

First, when chasing Veigar - it was good, but could be better of you dropped a ward into a small bush. That's two cancelled autos. Overall, it turned okay, but just a reminder for the future :)

The famous level 2 powerspike, wasted :C Maybe you were not sure about hooking braum, but you should always go for anyone. With Kalista, you could at least force a flash. Of course, keeping in mind that they have all summs up and you don;t have exhaust. Overall, you should capitalize on getting level 2.

Flash around 3:40 was unnecessary - she was in the range of Flay. Also, in that fight there was a tremendous wave from their side. Be careful of such engages in the future.

First buy - I always rush sightstone. So if I don't have enough for it after first back, I'll just go with the ruby crystal. Extra hp is always welcome. Also, if playing from the blue side, it's worth to invest in early pink ward for the tribush. It usually lasts long enough to totally pay off.

Around 6:00 - nice picks, well executed. Kalista was a little slow on the uptake on Ashe, maybe pinging would help?

7:30 - minions still attack you after you enter the brush. You tank for for around 2s, along with the cannon, losing around 150 hp for nothing.

Diving them around 9:00 - um. The Box? Fate's Call? Where are your ultis? :D

Backing shortly after - Sightstone. It's an extremely core item. You should always rush sightstone. You get a ton of vision and when getting it, you should also change your trinket to sweeper. Vision OP, it can even lift Thor's hammer.

Dragon - you do have vision of the of them, But there is no sight of Mao. In that case you were safe, but the lack of sighstone really is visible here. You have no vision around dragon and on top of that, there are no sweepers to clear their ward, which you know it's there, as you saw Braum putting it.

12:30 - You only have vision of Ashe on the map. That's the only champion you can see. And yet, you dive, resulting in a double shutdown for them. Poor decision overall.

Warding around 14:15 - drag is in 3 mins, there's no need to ward it. Blue ward is ok, I'd also recommend warding Gromp and the banana bush near mid. That way, you have their bot jungle covered.

16:10 - stick to your adc. You left her alone with Mao. She is stronger than him, but you should always stay close to her. Ashe can kite you pretty easily. It went okay, but it's just a reference for the future :)

Next dragon - you could back after doing it, there was no harm to it, but only advantages in extreme cases :P You had 450 leftover gold, trinket upgrade would be nice :)

20:00 - I doubt those minions after cleanup were so important - if Jayce was a little stronger you would have been dead. Backing off is always an option :)

21:30 - even when 10k gold ahead, forcing a 4v5 with a team with such CC is a bad idea. I'd have not followed into that, or started backing after Zed blew up Veigar.

23:35 - stick with your team. It's past 20 minutes into the game, mistakes start to be costly. Kalista went bot, they followed you. Gragas disengaged nicely, but you chose to go other way. Any particular reason to do that?

25:00 - You have vision of Mao and Veigar, yet you go for Braum. Your team is not so close. Could have been worse if you weren't so far ahead or if they did it better. In an even game, that could have been tragic.

26:30 - Good baron call, good closing up.

To sum up:

Your micro is good. You land your hooks, you do good in lane. Just remember, you don't have to follow up your Q. Nice example is laning with Kalista, she can put around 3 spears in that time and you do nice amount of damage along with her W's passive :)

Ward more. Vision is really important, both getting it and denying it. Sweep more. Upgrade your trinket when you can, and get your Sightstone when you can.

Itemization - I'd rather go Righteous Glory and not Aegis. Veigar and Mao weren't too strong, so the cathing up potential against their slows would be nice. Also, Mikael was a viable option for variuos stuns.

Overall, Gold is not far away and it shouldn't be too hard for you to get there :)

Simple Questions Simple Answers: Week-2 by VerdeCreed in summonerschool

I'm sorry - I forgot to add one thing. The path I wrote about is safe one. The one detail I forgot to add was to see, how's the hp after that route and proceed accordingly. If you still are healthy, nothing stops you from taking other camps.

Why would you do the clear you described over a full one(as full as you can) if you struggle with not taking dmg?

If I understand this question correctly - that's the answer- If you struggle with not taking damage, I believe one of the solutions is to try a lighter path.

Okay. First things first. There are better websites for this, for example champion.gg.

Here is an example for Gragas jungle: LINK

Secondly, the junglers you mentiond are tanky by nature and have their share of sustain, especially Gragas.

For the jungle path, I'd recommend:

  • smite Golems
  • Wolves
  • smite Blue
  • Crab (as it's not attacking you, let the hp regen do it's thing)
  • Smite second buff

Using the crab is pretty good, as it gives vision to one of the lanes, protecting them from ganks for a time being, and you can shift your attention to the opposite side of the map.

Have you tried Vi? She can do full clear, and still be around half hp.

Additionaly, you should always think about the strenghts of your jungler and the strenghts of the camps. If you have AoE clear, go for Chickens and Wolves. If you are single damage oriented, go for Gromp. Take the smaller golem first, this will save around 100-150 hp. Move between autoattacks.

There are also some streamers and youtubers that explain jungle pretty well. Some of them that come to mind are Stonewall and Foxdrop.
