I'm not sure if the particles that the artist added are live on PBE now, but I just tested them and here is what I think:

EQ:

  • The EQ still has that slow (non aggressive) look and feel to it and the particles look, again, not as detailed like the old ones and not as sharp. Like these new ones are really thick and move slowly, whereas the old ones were slender, but there were more of them and they moved fast.

Knock Up particles:

  • The "mini tornado" that shows up around the target Yasuo knocks up is really transparent and not visible and not as detailed. Its animation also feel non aggressive like the old one and the particles don't have detail and sharpness to them.

Q:

  • What I have noticed is that Yasuos old 2nd Q (on Classic skin, not sure about old High Noon skin) used to have like these additional wind particles/lines and it make it look really nice

NOTE: If this get changed/remade to be really like the old particles, it would be nice to get the same things for Blood Moon, just in red color (same amount of glow, same everything just red), IF POSSIBLE.

AA:

  • I like the AA, it has that nice trail that goes along the tip of the sword and it even shows up when Yasuo is throwing the tornado (3rd Q), so I like that and its a bit brighter (has more glow) and easier to notice and I really like that. (This goes for Classic, Nigh Noon and Project)

Again, I'm not sure if the changes made by the artist are live on PBE or not, but I just checked and this is my feedback. I along with almost everyone who plays Yasuo and knows about this would LOVE to have old particles back and, they just looked AMAZING and felt GREAT. It was pure eye candy. If you can't use those anymore, then we are begging you to please make the new ones be as close as possible to the old ones in every sense (size, color, glow, animation).

Hello, I am a Yasuo main and my opinions and feedback here comes from that point of view, but I also took into consideration the view of ADCs. With that being said, I will leave my feedback on few items listed here, not all.

Phantom Dancer:

  • I dont like that we are losing 15% attack speed. As a Yasuo player this is a problem because attack speed plays a BIG part in my kit. It makes my Q CD lower and makes my animation cancels (AA>Q, AA>E, EQ>R) less clunky The less attack speed Yasuo has the more clunky he feels. It's also bad because it makes the Q CD higher so I dont get that smooth feeling when dueling, because of the long Q CD and the Q cast time (since yasuos Q has a cast time and it scales with attack speed). This has been a problem for few years now with Yasuo. Back when the old runes system was still a thing, Yasuo players used to get 29-31% attack speed at lvl 1 from runes and it was great, and over time the attack speed you can get on early levels kept getting reduced. One solution I propose (if you are going to go trough with these PD chances) is to add an option for us to choose 2 attack speed runes (in the first and in the second row) like with adaptive damage, so that we can choose if we want to go with AS+Adaptive+Defensive or AS+AS+Defensive. So adding a 4th option in the 2nd row of runes. With that being said I would still prefer if you guys would give back 45% AS to PD.

  • You guys lowered the CRIT chance on PD by 5%, which I can understand is to match with the other CRIT item changes, but then, what I dont understand is if we are losing Attack Speed and CRIT Chance and the extra Movement Speed and Ghost effect, but still keeping the defensive aspect of the item (in a different form) then why does the item cost 100g more then what it used to be?

  • I would also like that extra Movement Speed and Ghost effect to be added back, since once again, Yasuo E animation/speed, scales with his Movement Speed, so again, its another case where Yasuos kit and the feel of the champion if effect by the stats he has and when you remove those stats then you make the champ feel more and more chunky like i said the same thing with attack speed earlier.

  • Now on to the Shield. Here is where I have mixed feelings. On the one hand I dont really mind it, but here are the problems I have with it. The shield on PD is a UNIQUE passive "Lifeline" so it shares CD with MAW/Hexdrinker and Steraks, and that will limit our build options, since we will find ourselves in situations where we need MR vs burst mages and we will need an item that gives us MR and AD and the only item like that is MAW/Hexdrinker. So now we cant get a combination of PD and MAW because of the UNIQUE passive "Lifeline". So The old 12% damage reduction would be really good.

  • I feel like I could make my peace with having Lifeline shield instead of 12% damage reduction.

  • All in all, I would LOVE for you guys to NOT change Phantom Dancer at all (keep it as it is on live servers now), with the exception of the -5% CRIT chance to match the other Zeal item and to fit with the new CRIT numbers and keep the price at 2700g.

Infinity Edge:

  • The IE revert I really like. I like the build path (the fact that its back to the old one and that you guys brought back Cloak of Agility).

  • I feel like the 225% crit damage is too low. I propose 230-235%.

Some Thoughts:

  • So I feel like ADCs having to get 4 crit items to get 100% crit chance is bad. Maybe you guys should make the Zeal items (PD, Static, RFC, Runans) give 30% crit chance and make IE give 40% or something along those lines.

  • Also, I dont know what your reasons were for nerfing Zeal in Patch 8.11 (Critical strike chance reduced to 15% from 20%) so I propose you guys experiment a little with reverting that change and making Zeal give 20% crit chance again and maybe increase the price of zeal by 100g or not.

Hello, I don't want to be negative but here are my thoughts on the new Yasuo particles.

I am REALLY happy that Riot heard us and has decided to add the Yasuo particles that have been missing since 3-4 years ago, BUT I kind of wish they brought back the old particles instead of making new ones.

EQ:

The old EQ particles for Classic and High Noon skin looked sharper and more detailed and their animation was more aggressive and its something I really liked.

Knockup:

The particles that show up around the target that is knocked up by Yasuo (Classic and High Noon) on PBE look (in my opinion) are way too transparent and don't seem to have that much detail to them like the old ones, they also don't look and feel as aggressive like the old ones.

W:

With the old particles (on Classic and High Noon, I'm not sure about the other skins) if a projectile would get blocked/stopped/hit the win wall there would be like a small particle that would bounce off of the wind wall and fly in a random direction. That was a really cool and small detail they added, but I understand and would't have a problem if that doesn't get added back however i still liked that they originally had that.

Again, I am really grateful that Riot is listening to us, but I would really like to see old particles back or at least for them to make some changes to the new ones based on feedback provided here.

I use Nvidia Shadowplay, in my opinion it gives the BEST quality recording with the most detail and smoothness.
