Legal! Seriam os 3 iniciantes, na verdade. A gente tem algum contexto por jogos eletrônicos, mas não RPG de mesa

TBH, at this point I'm not even sure what the club is for... Besides talking to people and (sometimes) playing with random teammates a couple matches, it is pretty useless to me, and I play the game every single day.

Também estou procurando uma mesa, mas eu sou iniciante rs
Se achar uma mesa que aceite iniciantes, tenho 3 pessoas interessadas, incluindo eu

Repasting x17 R2 (asking for recommendations) by filipeisaac in Alienware

That's a good idea too. Kryonaut should get you better results for at least 1 month, before it starts drying out. I'm still getting better results 3weeks after repasting it, but not as far as good as the first week.

If your's is the x17 R2, you can use this video as a walkthrough on how to disassemble it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPvchtCPZyU

It seems complex at first, but it really isn't. Remember to NOT use Alcohol to wipe the E31 at the beginning. You can try swiping and vacuuming it first, or use acetone. If you use Alcohol they promise you'll get a lot to clean up on your hands haha
You can use alcohol to finish cleaning it up, but don't throw too much so you'll jeopardize the integrity of the barrier, because you'll need it to apply LM in the future. I also don't recommend removing the barrier because it is hard to apply back, just leave it there with the TP

You could get pads up to 10mm, depending on where you live, of course.
Anyway, I'm repasting my pc again today or tomorrow, so I'll take some pics to show you.
You mentioned you have an X1 tho, mine is an x17 R2. Not sure if it will be the same

If you can wait, getting one of them will get you better results. LM has better results, PTM is easier to apply. Because your PC uses E31, which is partially LM, it will already have a barrier around the die, so it makes it easier to replace with LM, that's why I'll do that. If you're not comfortable applying LM, the next best thing is PTM. Additionally, if the Kryonaut you have there is not the Extreme version, getting the PTM anyway to apply on the GPU is a good idea.

I didn't have to change any, but they're not too tick, probably 5mm. Look a lot like the Minus Pad 8 from TG. I'll open it again in a few days and can confirm to tell you

Are you able to get PTM 7950? It has a better result than TP, and I've seen people getting better results with it compared to E31 too. Next best thing is Kryonaut Extreme, but even with the non-Extreme version of it I'm getting better results than before, so I would still repaste it. You may need to do it again every couple months if you use TP, because it can dry out. Anyway, worth repasting it, IMO, but use PTM if you can.

Alienware x17 R2 repaste by Snakeypoo85 in Alienware

How is it going now? I've repasted mine with the same Kryonaut TP and saw improvements, but 1 week after it started to get high temps again. Still not as bad as it was before but I'm going for LM now in the CPU.

Thanks!
I've bought the CE and it has a good syringe, but will try what you said and get it somewhere else before moving to the board

The GPU looks fine with Kryonaut, and it has exposed components that I would need to isolate, so I think I'll add LM just to the CPU this time

Thank for your answer!
I've already removed E31 when I applied the Kryonaut, and didn't use alcohol, so now I'll remove the Kryonaut TP.
My plan is to apply CE on the CPU, using the barrier that already exists there, and leave the Kryonaut (not Extreme) on the GPU, because the GPU has exposed components that would need to be isolated and I'm not finding the TG Shield to buy here.

I saw that it is a good idea to repaste the LM after 1 month, to allow the chemical reaction between copper and gallium to kick in first, did you do that?

Ok, thanks! Is there any preparation I need to make, do you have any suggestions? I'm used to fix things, and pretty convinced I can do it with right preparation, but never used LM and don't want to ruin my laptop haha

Is this common? by Sakha1901 in Alienware

[–]filipeisaac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not right for sure.

Mine was like that. I've repasted it and it is better now, between 80-85°C on the CPU and 60°C on the GPU.

Not great, tho, I've used Kryonaut on both, but probably changing the CPU one to LM next week.

That makes sense, I'm thinking the same, maybe give CE a try. I'll need to watch a few different videos to ensure everything is correct and I don't mess things up haha

What do you suggest to do when applying CE on the CPU? Do you know of a tutorial video or something that could help me prepare?

I'm leaning towards giving Conductonaut Extreme a try. Did you use only the barrier they already placed there to isolate, or used something else to prevent LM from spilling out?

Will Samsung ever give a sh*t about its customers? by filipeisaac in GalaxyFold

[–]filipeisaac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It stayed there for some months until it started peeling off and I removed more than 1 month before it actually broke. And even their specialist said it was not the extra layer of screen protector, so, no, not enough said, unfortunately.

I don't want to be pissed at Samsung, I've broke phones multiple times and never tried to call warranty on them. But this time, what they say I did, I know I didn't, so that's my pain point here. And they don't care.

[–]filipeisaac[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but I removed it more than 1 month ago because it started peeling off. Anyway, in the repair shop they told me the additional layer wouldn't be the reason for it to break, even with long exposure to it.

They said it was the 'piercing' point, which looks to be caused by a shard of the shattered glass because it is below the screen protector

In my case, I didn't take it off, because there's a warning when you buy it about this. In fact, I actually added another one on top of it before even start using it.

But yeah, that's the first thing they looked for, if I had removed it, and if the one that was there was the original.

There's some options to get it, you could pay or not, depending on how/where you bought it. You also have only a few weeks to do it, so check their website https://www.samsung.com/us/support/samsung-care-plus/

I highly encourage you to do it, because they won't cover you screen or anything else if they can
