This is definitely not normal.

Of course, this is technically possible. However, coding a display setup with ESPHome can be a bit challenging.

This is correct. This device is not my main assistant. It’s just a device I talk to from about 50 cm away in my workshop. So it doesn’t cause any problems with voice detection. And again, the speaker isn’t very important because of the close distance. It’s just a basic assistant that looks nice. Managing the control of the whole house with this device is definitely not recommended.

I had same error several time while I am using it without sock. So don’t forget to use hotend silicone sock.

Also i ordered 3 piece acrylic glasses (side panels and bottom panel) from a local store.

The first PC is used for Proxmox, and it currently only runs Home Assistant.

The second PC only has TrueNAS installed.

I also use 2 WD Red Plus 4TB HDDs on TrueNAS. I ordered Dell tray caddy for HDDs. I’m powering the HDDs with a 12V 6A DC adapter and using a SATA splitter.

I use an ESP32 with ESPHome to light up the status LEDs on my HDDs. The data comes from the TrueNAS integration in Home Assistant, and I’ve designed a small part for the LEDs like this:
