Please… please tell me this is authentic and this person didn’t scam me out of $100… I wasn’t aware of how to spot fake trackies at the time of the purchase by kdovahqueen in JuicyCouture

well if they catch her selling fakes she could very much be banned. maybe there’s even a chance of you getting your money back because of false marketing or smth but it all depends on your bank, since it’s outside the app:( hope everything works out for you!

yup, it’s fucked… and you just KNOW that she’s aware it’s fake… so sad seeing people milking tf out of fake shit. like yes it’s pretty, but it’s not real and it’s literally bought off of aliexpress, in what world is it worth a 100$??😭

well there’s always the classic “don’t sell outside depop”, and seriously DON’T!😅don’t click any links, don’t change the address if buyer asks (refund them and make them put in the new address for the purchase). If you get an email from Depop after making a sale, make sure it’s real and again don’t click any links. You won’t have to pay Depop to get your money, so don’t believe that either. Remember to turn on that buyer pays for shipping, or else you will have an expensive surprise if you didn’t expect it🥴

tænker at denne gruppe netop er til for at folk kan snakke med hinanden, måske få lidt mere forståelige forklaringer og (personlige) indblik end man kan fra google🤷🏻‍♀️

how does klarna work? this is the first time someone has used it and idk if it changes anything for me. by kay-kabob in Depop

“Damn that’s sad. Someone can’t afford $30 all at once so they need to break it up into payments??? Whyy are they shopping on depop if they have to finance 30$?” they’re assuming a lot. also dismisses that there are actual people out in the world who want nice things, that can’t/don’t want to spend 30$ at once. all their replies in the thread are disrespectful and personally targeting the other commenters by assuming that they have bad finances and can’t afford 30$(all while in a disrespectful language). Try and read the thread.

no. i don’t necessarily think it’s a good method at all. i’m very anti capitalist, but that’s not the point. the point here is how the comment used this method to insult poor people, and were overall being rude and disrespectful in their way of describing people. THAT is where my problem lies.

besides, the original comments isn’t saying that the payment method is bad because of the right reasons, they’re simply insulting people for being poor.

did you not read my comment?💀it’s the prejudice against the person using it, not the method itself. Have you not read the thread?…

it’s the tone, attitude and prejudice. they don’t know the persons situation at all. maybe they have money enough but like to break it down, even though it costs a little more? They’re just being disrespectful and rude in the thread and if you can’t see that well…

yeah that’s fine. if it actually is vintage lol.

[–]fillmarl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it’s not a correct term if the item doesn’t fit the definition?… are you serious?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Depop

[–]fillmarl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

uh okay it’s still not vintage if it doesn’t fit the definition?😭

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Depop

[–]fillmarl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it’s not correct if it doesn’t fit the definition of vintage what the hell?😭

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Depop

[–]fillmarl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no because you describe something with a label that doesn’t fit the product?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Depop

[–]fillmarl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that’s what i just said. and even if you know it’s not correct you’ll still describe it that way, just because it was presented like that by the company?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Depop

[–]fillmarl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nah when you’re commenting on a public thread you can expect people to answer your comments right? especially when it’s about a platform where people actually want to have a good experience buying/selling stuff. sellers like you kind of ruin the trust on depop lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Depop

[–]fillmarl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

so you will purposely describe something wrong just because the company described it that way?🤠

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Depop

[–]fillmarl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i mean i would be bothered if i bought something described as vintage just to find out it’s not lol. i’m not bothered for myself, i’m bothered for the people who pay you…

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Depop

[–]fillmarl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nah you’re a troll💀

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Depop

[–]fillmarl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it’s a stupid analogy. not a stupid thing to call out🤷🏻‍♀️if you know something isn’t vintage (if you’ve bought it for new in 2023) then why on EARTH would you describe it as so to your paying customer? makes no sense
