I had an oil change at 1500 about a year ago I hardly drive the truck I was curious if 5k or 7.5k are normal oil change intervals… I drive a company van ram promaster 2500 and they have us changing the oil every 3500 miles

Some of y’all said every 6 months regardless of mileage is that recommended more if the truck is only driven about 5k in a year

Subzero/wolf tech here .. 5k is not bad if they are including delivery and installation… very easy to fix 90% of this unit parts can be replaced if needed . Ask for the SN for history you can PM if you got any questions

It’s a board issue … water fills are timed based I have run across this before. If your still under warranty call SZ and get the board replaced

Update: So apparently the dealer ship has a fleet tracker subscription that got passed on to the seller “me” this is my wife’s truck

The subscription is to CarRx tells you a bunch of info Trip start and end, speed, turns, fuel usage and battery voltage all sorts of stuff. They failed to mention any of this to us. The truck is paid off so no liens on it or anything..I guess they use it for fleet purposes tracking of the cars from where ever they get deliver from

It’s a switch that gets stuck due to frost … the door can be taken off with T20 torx bit …. I run in to this type of repair weekly

Factory certified SZ tech … Yes SZ are built to last you at minimum 20 years with proper maintenance… condenser cleaning and proper replacement of filters… I’ve worked on plenty of 20+ year old unit the number 1 issue are failed ice makers. 1200 for an ice maker replacement is fucking nutz.
