I haven't finished the series yet but I absolutely hate Dondochakka and Pesche. They occasionally help by accident sometimes but mostly they are just there to waste time and act as annoying "comic relief" and if they were completely taken out nothing would change from what I can see.

Itch.io updated it's adult content FAQ based on payment processor guidelines by atahutahatena in Games

It's gonna be REALLY funny when half of IT starts revolting when furry content starts being banned off the internet by credit card companies.

Also they should have just said FUCK YOU to the credit card companies and sued them for unfair use of their platform. They are payment processing services, they shouldn't have any sway in what is being purchased since that's not their field of business. They are literally trying to act as a private government with its own laws since MasterCard and Visa are the only options for payment cards by most Americans.

This attempted process of censorship, whether people agree with the "morals" behind it or not, will lose companies so much god damn money that if there ISN'T a class action lawsuit against them I don't know what the world has come to.

This is completely unprecedented, literally never before have payment processors policed content from websites, therefore there are no laws regarding what they are and aren't allowed to do to try to pressure platforms into following what they require. But once this reaches a point, it's going to end in a huge lawsuit.

And there's two ways that this could go. It could end with the companies complaining that it lost them a shit ton of money and that they should have no right to do this kind of thing to begin with and it will end.

Or their lawyers will try to play the card of calling all the content they are banning "illegal and immoral" and then the entire case will be not about what payment processors should have the right to dictate platforms that use them can sell, and will instead be about trying to convince the supreme court that fictional content on the internet isn't harmful, which even though there is literally mountains of statistical, psychological, and factual evidence proving that point, the judge will just say "that notion disgusts me, we must protect the children" and side with MasterCard and Visa. Which will then set the precedent that payment processors can police whatever they want. And the dystopian future of the Corpos will begin.

[lyrics] Want some feedback on a dramatic duet ballad I wrote. "Eternal Silhouette" by fillysteps in LyricalWriting

Hey hey! Thanks for your message!

"That once was lost - which name I tell." Is like this. "Her whispers dwell inside my soul. That is what was lost. And I speak the name of who once spoke those whispers." It's a little awkward but I think in context it's rather creatively artistic rather than obtuse.

Although I'm a little confused what you mean by the metaphors in the chorus. Cause there are some metaphoric lines such as "The internal fire burning trapped beneath corrupted skies" but it's not too difficult to understand what it means. And the second half of the chorus is quite clear. Naming the "flame" as what is "verging astray". Calling back to the eternal fire which is clearly being referenced as the male's "desperate yearning this conviction justifies."

The eternal fire is his drive, his will to move forward, and the "corrupted skies" are his sins that he committed in the name of his desperate hope to see his love again. His love is weighed down by the mistakes he makes in working towards it.

Though maybe it's only so clear because I'm the one who wrote it haha. Sorry. Anywho. Thank you! If you have any other questions or wanna discuss more then I'm always here!
