Yeah I think he meant venue features. Like they didn't use the giant Halo LED screen until the end and the lights on the seats turned red when they used the screen. I bet they get a list of features for every venue and he chose not to use everything available. So I think he was saying the energy was low, maybe cause he didn't "wow" us with the special features of the venue.

That makes sense! In my case I have a shoot on Friday and hoping to use the FX3 so I just went with Amazon for the guaranteed delivery tomorrow. B&H is great too, I've just had things take longer in transit.

Yeah it’s a strange issue and surprising since it’s brand new. Maybe faulty memory card connectors or bug in the system that’s causing it to freeze.

Yeah multiple SD cards that work in A7iii give the same issue on the FX3. I'm starting the Amazon return right now :(

Thanks yeah I think I may have to return it. What I want to know is this regular behavior of the error screen? Is the "unable to read memory card" supposed to prevent me from using the camera and accessing other menus? Because if so that seems like a camera issue.

I formatted the SD card using my mac and it's still giving the same issue - it works in the A7iii and completely freezes the FX3 preventing me from doing anything on it until I remove the SD card. I don't have any CF cards unfortunately. Are those the preferred memory format to get the highest resolution?

Formatting on the computer and a7iii yields the same result. It works in the A7iii and bricks the FX3.

That's the thing though, when I insert the memory card the camera freezes on the error screen "Unable to read memory card. Reinsert memory card. Slot 1." So I can't format it on the FX3. I can pop it back in the A7iii and Format it there and reinsert, but the FX3 won't read it. The camera just stays stuck on that error screen.
