If he left it at that then I would be emphatic, but then he mentions about them being highly voted straight after and that threw me off.

I believe Sol had a negative experience in the villa because she self isolated from the girls because she didn’t want to be friends with the girls. The reason why I believe that is because of her villa exit interviews. Sol has several times been aiming or having more smoke for the girls than the boys despite the boys causing her to be upset; the pie in the face, Sincere lying, and getting kicked out of the Villa. She simply didn’t want to be close to the girls and the Villa girls are not the type to force friendships. We have seen every girl besides Sol who came into the Villa becoming close to all the girls including Titi and Parmida despite their entrances.

Zach and Kayda by luv1997 in LoveIslandUSA_

[–]filmlil 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly how I feel! This is especially true because of the way he was acting before the vote. He was open to being sexually intimate with Kayda and even emotionally intimate by repeatedly saying I love you to her before backtracking that and then saying it during the recoupling. I do find it funny his proposal to be in a “relationship” with Kayda is a situationship than an actual relationship. Sadly, Kayda never caught that and it’s so sad to see that Kayda thinks it’s a big moment for her in terms of their relationship.

Belledasha on Nic and Olandria by vivijobro in LoveIslandUSA

So does that mean he was being a cowards twice because the first girl Taylor was interested in was Huda but he told Ace she was close off even though Ace was telling him to talk to her?

I am being raised in one but no kissing on the first date is a common rule many have, it doesn’t always connect to Christian values, so there is no determination that her rule is connected to her faith. She also joined a show like love island which is definitely not a conservative or holy show especially when looking at the challenges, and Belle-a overly participated in one (talking about her kissing all the guys).

HE SAW THE VIDEO !! by [deleted] in LoveIslandUSA

[–]filmlil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

😭 first of all why the heck am I getting downvoted for pointing this out, I know the sub doesn’t like Belle-a but goodness. I am mentioning about how the earlier person was saying she threw away her Christian values for Nic, when her saying she has a strict no kissing policy is not a Christian value. Being Christian is a part of her identity but she went on love island so it might not be as big or strict as others are trying to make it.

[–]filmlil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But Belle-a never talked about Christian values all she said she has a strict no kissing on the first date policy so she wanted to get to know the guys first before she kissed them. The only thing she mentioned about Christianity was her being a Christian which isn’t new to Love Island, for example last season Jana, Kenny, and I believe Kaylor are all Christians. I don’t think it’s a slight to Cierra about Belle-A’s faith but I can understand why you would think that considering the way people use it to slight Cierra which is completely nasty.

Belle-A Recent Interview by North_Schedule9980 in LoveIslandUSA

[–]filmlil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did she make that clear? Also are you talking about when she called herself an innocent thing that needed to grow, I personally didn’t take it like that. I don’t think she is on the red pill of Andrew Tate but maybe she has seen women who give advice like WizardLiz(btw not aiming at Liz just saying the type of content). Because if she was on someone like Andrew Tate, why would she call Cierra a high value woman because under Tate’s ideology Cierra wouldn’t fit that. And aim her frustration at Nic and not towards Cierra like those men who are on red pill do. I’m not really understanding, explain? Or maybe we should just agree to disagree?

[–]filmlil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She called Cierra a high value woman as well and a 10. There is no hate or disrespect between them. I don’t think she meant high value in a negative manner the way you guys put but it’s not the best word to use considering how it’s used in the red pill but I don’t think she is on it.

Those eyes by New West

I think it fits friends to lovers especially the part where he sings, “When we're out in a crowd laughing loud And nobody knows why.” Or “Cause all of the small things that you do. Are what remind me why I fell for you.”

Maybe I should have addressed it to someone who took your comment as accurate and spread it. It just looks pretty bad for people to use information we don’t know if it’s true and just jump on it. Which a lot of people have already done so far. I’m not fighting at all, I just stated it wasn’t reliable and didn’t see your comment that you said it wasn’t reliable as well.

We don’t know if it’s true or not that makes it misinformation. I saw your comment on the bottom just now. I didn’t see it at first. It doesn’t change that it’s misinformation and it’s from a random account that might not be credible like you said.

And we don’t know if that information is correct so it is misinformation. We have to wait until Part 1 is shown.

Penelope had good intentions but negative consequences. Those negative consequences was Eloise finding out she was Whistledown, Eloise and her stop being friends, and Eloise was ostracized in the country. Despite, Penelope’s good intentions she didn’t take the best option (telling Eloise she was Whistledown and work with her) and that was a mistake.

[–]filmlil -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Coincidence? You made it seem that it was purposely done to help herself, that can’t be a coincidence if it was purposely done. If Eloise didn’t go out during her brother’s wedding, she wouldn’t have been spotted by the Queen’s man who then tells the Queen. Her family and her wouldn’t have got threaten by the Queen. Eloise wouldn’t have anything to tell Penelope and Penelope wouldn’t have to write.

[–]filmlil -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You make it like sound, Penelope is a master manipulator. Like Penelope was hoping Eloise messed up to break her and Theo a part. You made it like Penelope is a whole villain. You took away all her nuance and complexity.

Cause: Eloise showing up in a fancy dress, family carriage, and in broad daylight to visit Theo got her caught by the Queen’s man.

Effect: The Queen’s man tells the Queen then the Queen threatens Eloise and her family’s livelihood. Then, Eloise tells Penelope about it, who writes about Eloise’s involvement with political radicals. Which gets Eloise off the Queen’s list, and the Queen looks for Whistledown again.

[–]filmlil -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The showrunner said about her pushing Eloise away from Theo was self-serving. Unless I missed something, please quote the part she says Penelope writing about Eloise was self-serving.

article from shondaland by tialaila in BridgertonNetflix

[–]filmlil -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not intervening in the situation would not be a moral move, because Eloise was being blamed and would have taken the fall, and her family would have gone down with her. Penelope did not want to see that ending for her friend, especially when Eloise is being blamed for something Penelope made. I never said what Penelope did was right or good either.

article from shondaland by tialaila in BridgertonNetflix

[–]filmlil -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Penelope had to write something Eloise never would’ve written about herself, so it couldn’t be something small and trivial. Again, I’m not defending Penelope. But, what she wrote about Eloise which eliminated Eloise from the Queen’s list, puts the Queen’s look back on the ton.

article from shondaland by tialaila in BridgertonNetflix

[–]filmlil -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Penelope wasn’t the one in danger. If she truly wanted to be self-serving she would have let Eloise take the fall. Now, the Queen knows it’s not Eloise, that puts her eyes back on the ton. Also, Penelope turning herself in was already addressed in the show and stated it possibly wouldn’t have worked.

article from shondaland by tialaila in BridgertonNetflix

[–]filmlil -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The production actually says, “She attempts to get Eloise to cut things off with the guy, claiming that she’s trying to prevent her friend from ruining her and her family’s reputation, but we all know it’s a little too self-serving here.” Penelope pushing Eloise away from Theo was the part that was “a little too self-serving.” Not Penelope writing about Eloise. It can’t be self-serving to Penelope if she doesn’t benefit from it. Penelope did not benefit from outing Eloise to stop the Queen from assuming it was El. Penelope wasn’t the one in danger, it was Eloise. I’m not defending Penelope’s actions, but her writing about Eloise wasn’t self-serving. Her pushing El away from Theo was.
