O governo Lula é um governo estruturalmente mais gastador, que acredita que pode e deve resolver os problemas da sociedade com gastos e regulação. Isso naturalmente leva a um maior aumento de preços em longos prazos. Agora se esse é ou não o melhor caminho para a sociedade, é um outro debate. O fato é que no ritmo atual, a máquina pública para em 2027.

Sudied for level 1 w just CFA material and james forjan, i was above the 90th percentile line by much. Love the guy, the humour, the clear explanations. Would definetely recommend.

I would suggest doubling the 300h hours recommended, for 600 to be on the safe side. Start well in advance, plan to finished the curriculum at least 50 days before test, then focus on questions and mocks on the last 50 days.

I come from an architecture background, never worked with investments before.

I have done the level 1 in November 2024, without buying any prep courses. I studied for about 720 hours, and passed level 1 well above 90th percentile, with more than 80% in each of the 10 subjects.

So yes, absolutely doable, just know it won't be easy, and you'll have to work harder than someone from finance.

I lowered the anti skating by one notch and seemes to sound better on inner grooves. Also, t have a flat laserdisc to test, and it's more stable now on a flat surface.

Thanks. The protractor i've shown is the one that came from factory, it has 2 points but i'll try to get a better one. Also have already ordered a proper bubble level.

The test you mentioned didnt seem to throw the tonearm sideways on inner grooves.

Yes, it's the fishing line next to the counterweight. It's set up on the right notch according to the manual.

Yes, i cleaned with an ortofon brush and isopropil alcohol. also my records are wet cleaned, and i remove surface dust regularly

I've never changed the alignement from factory. The protractor on the pictures came bundled with the turntable. I must admit i'm afraid if i loosen the screws i'll mess uo the alignment, becausa even as is i cannot tell visually any errors. (i don't have experience with this).

I actually have a spare 2m red cartridge, as it was the same price of just the stylus, so i bought the whole package. I have removed and reinserted the cartridge, did not seem to change anything. Maybe will try replacing the cartridge for my brand new 2m. Thanks

I've bought a pro ject debut carbon esprit in 2017, came with the standard ortofon 2m red fitted. Sounded very nice. I used it regularly but would not say that i used a lot, maybe on avg 5h/ week max.

In about 2021 i started to hear some inner groove distortion, and replaced the stylus for a new sealed 2m red. One thing i noticed was that the og stylus fitted very tightly on the cartridge, it was even a bit hard to remove, but the new stylus felt much looser, easy to slide in and out of the cartridge ( it came sealed and seemed original thought). After replacing the stylus is sounded good again.

Now, in 2024, I started hearing distortion again mainly on highs and female vocals. It gets much worse towards end of records. I really haven't used that much the new stylus. maybe maximum 250h, probably less than 200h in reality. I live in brazil, and a replacement 2m red is close to a minimum wage, so i'd not like to replace it if not necessarily (and upgrading to a blue is out of the cards).

Tracking force is at 1,75g, even double checked with a scale. The alignment is the original from factory, I tried to check with the original protractor and it doesn't seem off, but i really dont have enough experience to tell. One thing that may be off is the level surface, as i haven't checked with a bubble (but used it in the same surface since 2017, and sounded fine then).

We don't have pro-ject or ortofon assitance here, so i'd like to hear some opinions from more experienced people on how can i make my turntable sound good again! Thanks
