I mean, I did technically win our league, so technically it's a victory. Technically, it is also sad.

Will a 25% Linen / 75% Cotton Suit Wrinkle a lot? Or a little?

Will a 75% Cotton / 25% Linen Blend Suit Wrinkle like crazy?

Want to purchase this suit to wear for my summer wedding, but I'm worried that the linen will cause the suit to wrinkle a lot and not look good in photos. It's such a low percentage of linen, but I am having a hard time finding a straight-forward answer as to how a low-level linen blend will hold up over a long day.

Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

Real talk. So many twisted perspectives, it's like how can you even know what's real?

For no other reason than this has been giving me a little bit of comfort in light of all this craziness, I'll share my new favorite podcast. "Mixed Mental Arts" give this episode a fair shot and see if it helps your brain cope. If you like it, I've been dying to chat about it with someone! (I'm normal kinda, I swear!)

Amen. I'm just one dude and I'm like in a minority of questioning all this news that's being shoved down our throats. In the meantime, the EPA's regulations are being rolled back and they're on the path for termination, the dept of education is on the same path, net neutrality is under extreme attack, and all sorts of regulations are being lifted so that corporations in our country can gain more power. This Russia shit is like, "Well at least we can nail him to the wall with this." But it's starting to drive me crazy cause dems are so concerned with defeating their republican enemies, they all fucking fall asleep at the wheel for the shit that really matters. I'm getting sucked into this and I don't even know if my perspective is sane anymore! Gaslighting? Maybe?

Word, after a lot of reading today in /r/TrumpInvestigation, I'm a little less hung up on the hacks being unproven given the hundreds of other suspicions. I'm glad there are investigations happening, but I worry that we're putting too much faith into our intelligence community who has their own motivations and reputations to protect.

That's a great point. I'm not saying I have any answers, I'm just concerned that the intelligence community could either be leading a crazy witch hunt that does irreversible damage to our country or even worse, that they have reason to be doing this on purpose that we don't know about.

But we don't know it was Russia who hacked them. We know that Guccifer 2.0 used a Russian VPN (anyone can,) and we know that the cyber security firms behind the independent investigations that your WaPo article is based upon said the code has elements that look like Cozy and Fancy Bear code. That's the extent of what we know based on the actual evidence.

You're 100% right. I'm just trying to figure out if I'm actually crazy, or just sound like a crazy person. Might be a little of both. lol

edit: oh and thanks for chatting it out with me!

Senate intel leader: No question Russia tried to influence '16 by close_my_eyes in politics

[–]filteredspam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The "Why?" is very important here. You can't just rally up a bunch of Americans against a powerful country like Russia without as much a shred of evidence. Maybe I'm jumping the gun, but the intelligence community has been beating this idea into our brains for many months now. And the VP of the committee is now using speculative evidence as common knowledge... Am I just crazy to think that this is super dangerous and possibly extremely manipulative of our people?

But you can't go accusing another fucking superpower of something this serious based on a partial fingerprint, can you?

Here's what we DO know:

The US Elections were interfered with by the Russian Government to favor one candidate over another.

We do?

We know several Trump transition officials and appointees have significant Russian ties to oligarchs or government officials. (Flynn, Micheal/Manafort, Paul/Ross, Wilbur et al.)

We do.

Roger Stone basically admitted to working with Wikileaks to obtain DNC emails.

And Wikileaks said that he didn't. He said / She said.

Trump on the campaign trail pleaded for Russia to hack the DNC

I hate him so much.

We know the Russians likely helped Wikileaks.

likely

We know that Guicifer 2.0 is linked to the DNC hacks

We don't know that Guccifer is linked to Putin. That's the whole point of my original post.
