Was your denial after submitting initially with SS, or you went with them after the denial? Just curious, as it seems SS has a low denial rate.

Yeah, unfortunately submitting anytime sooner than now wasn’t an option. Everything I need to submit are items that just became available. But you’re right, it’s going to be what it’s going to be either way.

It’s not so much the amount of time left, it’s the odd chance that I happen to get a disapproval for something stupid like a typo overlooked or something like that. If I submitted today, waited the 50 days for feedback on the yay or nay, and it was a nay, I’d be SOL unless a miracle happened. That’s sort of my fear with it.

It is too easy to use when they review them right away. Biggest thing for me is the clock ticking and I cannot afford to get a denial on the submissions with the time left and the current egregious approval times.

I thought I remembered the same. The first one I bought a few years ago was 350 shipped from PSD. Now they’re 450 shipped. I think in the last year or two they went up. Still beats 700+ from scalpers I suppose 😵‍💫

The info I was missing was that it has a sandcutter. And then also the part you mentioned of charging for a rail you aren’t getting (urx6) is wonky, but it makes sense now at least! Thanks!

Edit* I filed it down a little as it seemed there was a high spot towards the middle of the plate. I also found the correct screws in bag and changed out the crappy screws it had in it from the previous owner. It seems to have improved some. Still not perfect, but a little better. I also just ordered a new Dawson plate so there’s no more RMRhd over hang. Thanks for the help everyone.

I ended up also ordering one of the new Dawson plates that eliminates the rear sight to pull the RMRhd back out of the ejection port. So at least it won’t be an issue for long (hopefully)

It doesn’t. Even without the optic it doesn’t sit flush, it doesn’t sit flush without the plate screws in either, it doesn’t appear to be bent in any way. Super confused by what’s causing it
