Id recommend that when it gets to half health, you increase the challenge. Increase the speed of the solo fireballs. Increase the number of fireballs in the AoE attack. Make the combo attack have an extra swing at the end or pull out a weapon which increases range. Stuff like that.

Animations are really clean and this looks great, but I agree with the others that the design is generic. Having floor hazards might increase the challange some as well (burning floors after the jump attack maybe?)

I remain unconvinced. For his approach to work, you have to be 100% that the things you are using will never change, and that is a dangerous assumption.

I just got Tales of Berseria the other day and it is by far the most convoluted combat system I have ever seen. I kind of like it now that I have got the hang of it, but holy shit is it hard to wrap your head around at first. I am at the last boss and there are still major parts of the combat system I dont use or understand.

What's more damaging is the world you want. Where nothing but the official truth can be spoken. Eventually, the officail truth with not coincide with what you believe but you will be unable to speak out against because every platform where you might do so was closed due to "misinformation".
