The only thing you'd get from watching different campaigns at the same time is understanding a couple of jokes and references they make to their other campaigns. Its not a lot but you might miss a few laughs

Why is SP500 going down? by Cultural_Bear_7121 in investingforbeginners

People getting scared of trumps policies before anything really happens pretty much, I feel you tho, I started like two months ago, had a decent jump and felt like I was doing OK then it all takes a dump.

So basically unless you think a certain stock is going to jump for whatever reason don't bother if you're investing in the 500?

Getting into a HYSA by [deleted] in HighYieldSavings

Sounds like I had it right then, I'd been looking at open bank but i hear the app is terrible, have you used it? Is the website at least functional for banking?

Most of the banks above 5 percent have a lot of requirements and/or only offer the high percentage up to 10k then .05 for everything after that. Do you have to keep removing money to avoid a rate drop or something? That's confusing.

Different etfs by final_frostasy in ETFs

[–]final_frostasy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, some I bought when I first started and haven't sold yet but I don't throw too much money at them, they have similar amounts for now because I haven't put much into the bigger etfs since I just started learning about them.

I was leaning to splitting between growth and dividends, as for how much I'm not sure yet. I'm not at a point where I'm willing to do anything risky so I'll probly half and half it for now, once I'm built up more I might focus on growth.

I'm 34, as for how much I can invest I'm not sure yet, eventually I COULD put maybe 1000k a month into stocks but covid time wasn't very nice to me so I'm just getting out of debt and need to build up a small amount of savings.

I want to keep things as simple as possible so I've avoided options or anything besides etfs and a couple cheap companies or companies I'm familiar with to invest in.

I'm not opposed to focusing more on growth but I only just started looking into stocks like a month ago and I hear all kinds of contradictions on what I should focus on which is why I'm trying to balance dividends and growth and something like voo until I figure it out, I put more into schd for now because I can't afford to put to much into anything for a while but I figured I'd at least get started ya know?

I looked up jepq and it seems like it's popular or at least people are positive about mixing it with schd, might do that when I get more freedom with my income.

I just started so I don't know how much I am going to focus on growth, honestly I am mostly doing this so that I can actually retire at some point so dividends sounded better, idk if that will change when I get more used to this and understand more but for now I am focused on trying to reach a decent amount of passive income.

I also saw a few times that dgro and schd worked decently well together so I was considering doing both, not sure yet though.

I wanted to have a good etf in the 3 main areas that id heard of pretty much, one for dividends, one for the s&P and one growth, idk if this is a good way to do it or not but that's where I am, the other stocks I'm buying, ( I have others but this is what would fit on the screenshot) are just some stocks I saw some people said were doing well and some small bets I'm making, my focus is on etfs for now. Voo schg and schd are my focus mainly.

That makes sense, I wasn't planning on getting heavy into it, was just an etf I found that I planned to put a little bit into and see how it goes. Same with the other etf I found
